Cafes I’ve visited

A rather simple spaghetti meal. The carbonara has a generous portion of bacon, but I (personally) would have wanted more sauce (I’m a sucker for cream 🐄 🥛)

An average flat white. Good place to chill and talk with friends - there were cafe-themed merchandise that I found to be well designed! On some of the rustic walls you can see mini “robots” that follow the theme of the cafe/bar. Their cocktail menu had a “flavor wheel” that helps people decide what kind of drink they would like. Would like to return one day to try it!

A good blend of the local flavors and Italian noodles! Because there is no laksa soup, you won’t get the flavor of the coconut milk in this dish. However the other flavors in the sauce are still strong enough to make this dish a successful one. Prepare to leave feeling full because of the pasta rather than the sauce!

A simple delight for all the matcha lovers out there 🍵 Large cup is 16oz, so prepare to leave with your stomach full if you decide to upsize!

Left me feeling very full. Flavor is strong and good, there is not a lot of sauce, however it is still jelat. Ham tasted cheap, but turkey bacon was quite juicy. It is well worth your money at only $9.90!

Kinda odd! Don’t expect it to be sweet, but don’t expect it to taste like coffee either. The other ingredients from Cheng Tng are there - white fungus, ginko nuts, wolfberry (枸杞). Tried once for the novelty, don’t think I’ll try it again!

A unique kind of pastry - the “cloud” is brittle and has jam on the inside. Sweet and can be finished in two bites, but I wouldn’t recommend that 😉
