If you’re a fan of honey, this is the cafe to try out!! The honey osmanthus cheesecake ($8) had floral notes in every bite and was the perfect level of sweetness. We also had the rose earl grey tea ($8) which came with a small bottle of honey on the side. It was extremely fragrant and perfect for those who are fans of floral teas.
We also had the red velvet cake ($8) and iced chocolate ($7) which were good, but paled in comparison to the honey osmanthus cheesecake and rose earl grey tea. Do try their floral teas if you drop by!
We had an earl grey & matcha cookie with Valentine’s Day tea, and a speculoos & chocolate cookie with sea wolf apple tea. It was warm, moist and delicious! As expected from Kooks (: try it!!! $13.30 with 1-1.
This place is tucked away in the rundown Shaw building, but don’t let that stop you, Tom’s palette is renovated well and clean. Got the Rum & raisin with Chocolate tea, as well as the honey lavender with honey cinnamon. It had a gelato consistency and was packed with flavour. I especially loved the rum & raisin, i could really taste the sweet rum. The lavender had floral notes and the honey cinnamon was reminiscent of Auntie Annie’s cinnamon pretzels! $5 for 2x 4Oz cups is a steal. Come support Tom and enjoy his delicious ice-cream! Maybe even try the adventurous flavours like white chocolate nori.
