Cakes & Coffee

This is my favorite of the two (Pistachio and Berry). The cream was very light and goes well with the matcha, red bean and pancake. Red bean paste was not too sweet - I just wish they give more of it! Overall pretty good if you are willing to pay a premium for it.

Damage: $19.80

Fluffy cotton candy on top of spongy smooth pancakes. More for novelty purpose. Taste wise the pistachio (and walnuts I think!) in between the pancake added some extra crunch but overall average and not worth the price in my opinion.

Not your usual thick red velvet cake. Cream cheese and cake were both light and easy to go. Henri Charpentier’s cakes never disappoints.

Cake and cream were perfectly smooth and light. I prefer this over Lady M’s. Henri Charpentier’s cakes never fails.

We had the lemon meringue tart, carrot cake and cheesecake and the carrot cake proved to be the most outstanding one. It was moist and filled with nuts and berries and had the perfect level of sweetness.

Damage: $20 (1 for 1 for Friends of the Gardens)

This cake got the good looks and good taste! Such a pretty piece of work and tastes of a mixture of lychee, raspberry, light cream....so wonderful!
