LOCALLY SINGAPORE
Food was good, esp enjoyed the frog porridge. Came early and we got seats upstairs. Was fully seated after 6pm with lotsa families.
5 of us came here for a birthday celebration and left with happily filled bellies. The Mussels, Prawns and Seabass was really fresh. As commented by my colleagues, the mussels was the freshest ever that they've tasted.

All in all, it was a happy meal and will be back for more soon.
We were all amazed at the depth of this thing. The texture was so smooth. Lala broth with century eggs, eggs, and ikura. The Squid Ink on top goes extremely well with the Century eggs. I loves the Ikura in mine with every mouthful.
This is like the Chinese style hokkien mee with wok hei and everything except that the prawn is so Crispy and fresh that I finished even the shell from head to tail. I would order this over the Roasted Prawn on the menu thou the braised Kelp is a nice touch as well.
I love this dish the most out of all. The homemade mee hoon kueh was fried to a Crisp on the exterior and chewy on the inside. Goes very well with their house made Lao Gan Ma thou some may find it a tad too spicy. They had kailan and chickpeas crunch on the sides but I would says that it was the Koo Chye that brings out the awesomeness in this dish.
First time to the Scaled and this came highly recommended. It was really 名不虚传, the Seabass Pate with caramelised onion atop the Crispy fluff Sourdough... Its a very mild yet comforting appreciation.
Had craving for this sesame oil/soy sauce/ chilli padi par-boil fish skin every once in a while. Its always nice.
Loves the porridge from here. Good n cheap. Always order the century egg porridge with sliced fish and extra youtiao. The porridge gets better with the seasame oil/sliced chilli padi sauce from the slice fish. My fav goes to comfort food.
Been eating here since I was a kid. Their fat oily roast duck drumstick is still something that I'll crave for till now. It goes especially well with their dry horfun. Now I order them for my kids their wanton noodle which comes with their fat Char Siew. P/s they r quite ex. $10.64 for a portion of their duck drumstick Horfun via Grab excluding delivery fee.
OK they fried and pack separately the sides for you. I was oily good. SINFULLY good. Their laksa yongtaufoo together with the fried items was heavenly. Once a while I'll tried to balanced (lied to myself) out with something soupy and ahem, the fried stuff at the side.
Ordered these together with the fried intestine, fried kway teow and fried mee. Fried intestine and the toufu was goooood. The noodles so so only. The toufu came in diff size and cut. The biggest one was the best for me... Juicy and crispy and yet I can still taste the toufu inside.
Ordered via WhatsApp and prompt collection of food with no need for queue. Nasi lemak blue pea rice with Curry Chap Chai and Har Cheong Kai and Rendang Pasta with broiled Broccoli and Fried Fish Fillets and of cos the soft-boiled eggs.
