Came at 8pm on a Friday night and had to wait for q a bit before we were seated... and the food took 30mins to arrive(btw we got our food at 9pm...)
Food is decent but nothing spectacular 😔
Ordered the pasta truffle cream ($16.9) which was pretty good but there was no truffle taste at all 😥😥 the pizza lion mane teriyaki had very little topings, in fact so little topings I was wondering if I was just eating pizza crust and sauce 🤔🤔 however, I must admit the sauce really complemented the thin pizza crust
However the true saving grace was the sweet potato fries, which although simple, was really perfectly seasoned and a good tummy filler while we waited forever for our mains to arrive 😌😌
Do note that this is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant!!!!
Super good
I’d travel across SG just for this :)
Overall decent
Pizza crust was thin and crispy, which was pretty good, although it could definitely use more tomato sauce and cheese •_•
Okay if 1 for 1 but idt I’ll pay $17-$19 for this 💩
I would totally travel across Singapore for this
Pork don was okay- pork tasted superior to regular pork you eat but the rice tasted really good with the onsen egg and sauce
Pork cutlet was a life changer- the pork was crispy on the outside but super tender and juicy on the inside, curry was slightly salty tho
Overall was an excellent meal, portions are filling and v satisfying
6/10
Generally it’s not that bad...
Siew Mai looked the best and it was one of the best dishes
The pork ribs was really good, it was tender and you taste the black bean
Spinach dumpling was okay- shrimp tasted fresh
Har Gao looked so sad and the shrimp didn’t taste fresh...
Meanwhile the Chee Cheong Fun- I think you are better of without it
Paid around $12 per pax even tho we ordered 3 pax portion for 4 ppl as recommended
The salted egg yolk mala tastes more like carbonara rather than salted egg yolk although there are several chunks of salted egg seen. The ingredients soak up the salted egg sauce which was not bad BUT the noodles were $2 per portion- extremely pricey if u ask me. Ended up eating dessert afterwards because it was not that filling... oops
We also waited 30-40mins even tho it was not peak hour and we were the only ones ordering food.
Overall not that bad but I most probably wouldn’t have it again. Can consider for the hype of salted egg mala.
Paid about $24 for both dons with Burpple one for one
Very generous portion sizes and pretty worth at its price point :)
The unagi was really well cooked
Would totally recommend both
Really delicious and reasonable price with Burpple 1 for 1($7 per pax)
Would recommend the dried noodles as well as the cheese dumplings
