Gyuniku curry don was flavourful and enjoyable. The breaded fish in the sakana katsu cheese don was a tad dry. Food took around 25 mins to arrive, when restaurant was ard 1/4 to 1/3 full on a weekday afternoon. Service crew who attended to us was somewhat curt. Was an average meal overall.
Affordable and tasteful. Delights the palate without breaking the wallet:)
Super good sushi and maki. 50% discount on sushi.
Nicely grilled unagi with a slight char, accompanied by a tasty clear dashi soup that brought out its sweetness.
Tempura wafu pasta was flavourful and came with a generous serving of yummy bonito flakes. Waited over 40 mins for this to be served.
Ordered different mains for team lunch today. Tempura don ($11.80; pictured) was nicely battered and rather balanced in terms of textures, colours, and flavours. Oyakodon ($9.80) was spicier than expected. The beauty boost smoothie ($6) comprising of avocado, milk, and honey was average. The wait for the food was disappointingly long, with the first two mains arriving after 40 mins and the smoothie after 30 mins.
We had Tonkotsu Charsiew Ramen (~$14, spicy and normal), very flavourful. The Salmon and Egg Roe Donburi rice bowl (~$14) that we got was a little small and the miso soup that came with it was a tad salty. But the Pork Katsu Donburi rice bowl was not bad.
