Decent Noms
One of their better/special dishes! Chicken was juicy and paired really well with their chilli on the side. But am not a big fan of the breast meat that came with the thigh.
Dry laksa was def one of the better ones around and a popular favourite here! Recommended!
Chap chye on the other hand was so-so, nothing amazing. Better off trying something else on the menu.
There are probably better dishes on the menu to order. We already had 40 skewers so this was like another dish with even more spices on top. The lamb smell was also pretty heavy on this so we didn’t like it as much.
First time trying this dish - definitely spicy with the amount of chilli fried with it, and found the chicken cubes a little dry!
Glad we had 4 pax to share the 40 skewers! There’s a couple of flavours to choose from for each skewer and overall tastes great. Beef was a little tough while the pork and chicken are great
Way too many onions in this dish! But the thinner noodles used here was delish. Can’t choose the thickness of noodles but it’s less than 2mm - which is the default for the noodles soup. It’s still a good choice if you are looking for something different but i’ll probably just stick to the noodles soup next time!
Gave this unassuming shop tucked away at the corner of level 3 VivoCity a shot as I’m a big fan of Shejianjian. Noodles were a bit soft for my liking but the broth is pretty good mixed with the chilli! They are now running a promo for 50% off the second dish, so go try while it lasts!
Came here for lunch with colleagues and am surprised with the quality of chicken and sides! The service was really good, despite them mixing up our orders but handling the situation with grace and giving us the additional sides we originally ordered. For the price, iSteaks is definitely worth it!
Between this and the Chocolate Chip cookie we ordered, we preferred this! Probably also because this came out slightly warmer and we’re big fans of Lotus biscuits. However, just felt that the nutella filling did little to the overall taste!
Worth every calorie, but not worth every penny. They injected the cookie with nutella filling using a syringe, which is rather makeshift. Overall felt like I was paying for the marketing gimmicks than a good cookie.
Decided to give this shop a go and came out very satisfied with the decent quality of ma la tang! They measure the ingredients you took by weight so it’s pretty fast. However, we were a lil disappointed with our soggy noodles.
Tasty carbonara and worth it with burpple beyond 1 for 1!
