Bubble Tea
Finally tried Brown Sugar Deeroica Fresh Milk (S$5.30) from The Alley, while my friends tried this strawberry and milk tea drink respectively. Pearls were on the softer side, felt that the milk taste stronger than the brown sugar itself. Just a decent brown sugar drink I guess, cant choose the sugar level and it was a bit too sweet for me. For this outlet in Cineleisure, it was great to have some seats for customers to chill over their drinks.
Yogurt with Purple Rice $5.60
Name sounds healthy so decided to give it a try. Find the yogurt is a bit too sour paired with the purple rice. There were abundant of purple rice, was very filling such that I left about 1/4 of the drink till the end. Did get a little sickening towards the end. However, the more you chew the purple rice was really fragrant and tasty. Worth trying if you would like a healthier substitute of BBT.
Supreme Cheese Strawberry $8.30
Frosted Cap Oolong Black Pearl $5.20
Tried another trending tea brands. Supreme Cheese Strawberry was refereshing with rich and flavourful cheese on top of blended strawberries. Quite a pleasant combination with fresh ingredients. For Frosted Cap Oolong Black Pearl, the pearls were chewy and went fairly well with the tea. Overall quite a good experience but drinks are on the pricier side.
Taro Blast Boboshake $5.90
Oreo Boboshake $7.80
Went when the outlet just opened, so no queue, waited for around 5 mins for my drinks. Taro blast was really filled with yam in different forms, from the slightly chewy taro balls to the yam paste around the cup. The combination with fresh milk screams YAM in your face in a good way, at least for the first 3/4 of the drink. As for Oreo Boboshake, it just tasted like Oreo though the layering of the oreo blended and fresh milk was just nice, pearls were chewy too. But for price-wise think the taro drink is more worth we feel. Will be back to try others, provided when there's shorter queue.
Cassia Black Tea With Mousse $4.70
Dong Ding Oolong Fresh Milk Tea $4.70
Pretty packaging for the drinks. Ordered the Cassia Black Tea With Mousse with 0% sugar, tasted bland and healthy but mousse was quite fragrant and smooth. Opted for less sugar for Dong Ding Oolong Fresh Milk Tea, sweetness was just right for me. Tea did not overpower the milk. On a weekend afternoon, took around 10 mins from queue to getting my drinks.
Still on the brown sugar bubble milk band wagon so got to try this when I was in town. From queuing to getting my drink I waited for about 10-15 mins on a weekend, think it’s quite reasonable since it’s famous. The brown sugar did not disappoint, texture was smooth and pearls were chewy the way I like them. Though the brown sugar taste wasn’t that prominent. The other drink was lightly roasted oolong. Oolong taste was aromatic and drink was smooth no complaint. Not my favourite brown sugar milk but worth trying!
Oolong Latte + honey pearls
Brown Sugar Milk + grass jelly
Long queue on a weekend evening, waited for 10-15 mins for my drinks. Oolong latte tasted sort of bland maybe cause I opted for 25% sugar level. However honey pearls were chewy, just the way I like it. What really surprised me was their brown sugar milk, the brown sugar was infused into the milk so perfectly that the drink was so smooth. wasn’t too sweet that you just want to keep drinking! Think it was their opening promotion we got the Super cute reusable cup sleeve! Love their effort in encouraging people to go green! Can’t wait for them to open more outlets in other areas of Singapore!
