Favourite is the mentaiko rosti, which is somehow the only one being left out in pictures.
Tried the highly recommended Pork belly, and also the gyoza croquette but find them a tad too salty. The salad is much needed to add the refreshing crunch.
Ordered ala carte skewers, nice but very pricey per skewer.
Overall the place is quite nice, but abit noisy if sitting inside. We got the counter seat. Would recommend to request sitting outside since it’s also air-conditioned and feel more spacious. Menu on the pricey side.
Order the set lunch that comes with choice of noodles, dumplings and cold drink. Prefer the mushroom noodles as compared to pork noodles. Love their dumplings, especially the fried pierogi, smoked duck dumplings one is quite refreshing and different from the usual ones. Their drinks are a nice blend and is good to neutralise the noodles and dumplings so less likely to feel gelat. Overall, a very satisfying lunch and wait wasn’t too Long at 12pm.
Tried out Kajiken’s dry ramen for wed dinner. I think portion is generally large without the free upsize of noodles.Perhaps that’s why I feel abit gelat after the meal and was a bit sad that my add on fried chicken was soggy since it was mixed into the sauce. But I loved that the dish has lotsa vegetables (spring onions and seaweed). The service is good here with attentive staff.
Had this during the weekdays. Personally prefers twosome noodles compared to Sichuan minced meat which seems a little too flavourful. But the roasted belly is nice and worth the calories. Best is the free flow soup which is delicious and feels warm to the tummies.See the generous portions of wantons that we placed in the soup before I recall that I need to take a picture.
