Generous with the gravy and the chilli packs a punch! Can request for more if you can take spicy food! 🤤🤤🤤 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
FYI, the stall is slightly hidden, look out for the mookata stall!
Paid about $27.4 each for lunch. There was a 2hr limit. The chicken (soy and spicy) was quite good! Will come back again.
Ordered grape oolong and soursop sencha using Burpple 1 for 1. Highly recommended. Ambience of the place is nice too, very chill and relaxed. Good for a weekend tea break with friends.
Used Burpple beyond and got the aburi scallop and salmon don, as well as the special salmon don. Paid $24 in total, with a 1/2 pint asahi and hot green tea. There is no service charge and GST. The food is good and very worth due to Burpple 1 for 1.
One of the best that I have tried, so soft and buttery! 🤤🤤🤤
2L frozen margarita for $65++, which was v worth it! Can choose between a couple of flavours such as strawberry, mango, peach, lime and grape. We ordered lime margarita and it was really refreshing. Service was really very very good and attentive too! Will def come back. Thumbs up!
They serve one of the best fish soup around. The fish slices are always thick and very very fresh. The soup is flavourful but yet you wouldn’t feel thirsty after. 👍🏼👍🏼 $4 for fish soup mee sua.
Very hard to find yam paste being served in dessert stalls and Ah Chew never disappoints. Good desserts as always.
First time trying frilled fish and this exceeds expectation. We ordered the lingbo fish (recommended in the menu) with green pepper. We requested for ĺ°‘éş». With added on rice cake, golden mushroom, grilled mushroom and mantou. The food is enough for 3, and total bill was around $90+
Was not able to utilise Burpple one for one as there were certain restrictions which the waitress didn’t bother explaining to us (she said everything v quickly in Chinese and none of us could understand as she was talking so fast) and payment had to be made by 9.30pm? So we just ordered without the one for one.
The stall is famous for their dry ban mian, which is handmade and chewy. Personally love their Tom yum soup as well, and so was happy to find out that they have Tom yum noodles on the menu, and they allow you to choose between ban mian and you mian. Prefer the you mian. $6.50 for a bowl and it comes with prawns and slices of fish cakes!
There was a small variety of meat including pork (bacon, belly, collar, marinated), chicken (spicy, black pepper) and beef (short ribs). The buffet also includes some cooked food and soup. Highly recommend the ginseng chicken and collagen soup, goes so well with rice! Paid less than $60 for a weekend lunch for 2 pax.
