it’s so light and crisp as it’s deep fried in sesame oil, the most ungreasy tempura i’ve had. even with the batter, i cld still taste the fresh ingredients beneath. from the sweet prawns to the fleshy sea eel and crunchy vegetable medley, every ingredient was exquisite. also liked the touch of how there were 3 different salts for u to use!!
super robust and they make it right in front of u too. altho it was summer we asked if we cld have a warm cuppa and they kindly acceeded!! it was even richer w marshmallow toppings 🤩 so good
got their special golden state latte; the espresso was sooo good, bold and aromatic. mine came w almond milk yet it was so creamy and full flavoured. tried the og latte which came w hokkaido milk which was richer and RLY DELIGHTFUL TOO.
w a huge slab of grilled chashu for a touch of smokiness, a well seasoned ramen egg w an oozy yolk and springy noodles, it doesn’t rly get any better than this.
the pancakes were light and and fluffy, complementing the rich chocolate sauce and crunchy granola (first pic). the contrast of both flavours and texture made it very enjoyable, albeit it being pretty decadent. if u prefer smt lighter on the palate, the classic one w manuka honey whipped butter and caramel syrup (second pic). the egginess of the pancakes defo stood out more on this!
the bun was buttery soft and warm, filled with cold but fresh lobster flesh. topped with some zesty lemon juice, it made for a decent bfast :-)
