Burpple BEST

First time at an Irish Pub, but we were there more for the food than drinks - ordered the signature Poet Burger ($22) and Guinness Pie ($24) with Burpple 1 for 1 which is so worth it because of its huge portion! The burger was packed with really tender beef, deep fried onion, bacon, lettuce, tomato and a sweet fruity sauce and we loved every bite of it! Bread was super soft and had a nice tinge of sweetness. Fries were good too! For the guinness pie, it was sort of like a beef stew under the puff pastry, a tad salty for my liking, but the bitterness from the Guinness beer really added a uniqueness to the dish. If I didnt know it was cooked with beer, it really resembled the Chinese herb bitterness.

The ambience was really vintage too!
