Review of the outlet at Tiong Bahru Plaza. This is the place to go to if only a few members of your group want to eat bak kut teh. Impressively long menu. In addition to pork rib BKT, they also have dry bak kut teh, frog bak kut teh, chilli frog leg, kampung chicken, assam fish head, etc. The BKT soup isn’t the best in town, but it’s not bad. Prices are reasonable, and the service staff roam the room regularly to add soup on demand.

Review of the stall at ION Orchard Food Opera. The bak chor mee is pretty good, even if it’s not the best you can get in Sing. It’s cheap but the portion is a bit small, so depending on your appetite, you may want to supplement with additional noodles, fish skin (not that great), or the salted baked chicken.
Not the healthiest or most delicious food, but surprisingly, at the River Valley Road branch, I had the yummiest possible Tulang Merah, cooked to order. Not much meat, but the sauce is absolutely delish.
