Student Meals

It's hard being a student, you know. Good food deals only come at weird hours (2-5pm too early for dinner too late for lunch), and then all the GST and service charge turns your bill into an accounting horror.

But this. This is just. Affordable. Ramen. Sums it all up, really.

I had tonkotsu ramen ($8.90)!! Nett!!!!!!!

Soup: I'm a huge sucker for Tonkotsu. The broth was rich, but the msg aftertaste was a bit strong.

Noodles: Did you know that ramen originated from China? The noodles here really reminded me of you mian - same consistency when chewed upon, but it didn't turn soggy in soup!

Charsiew: By far, the best part of the meal - it was tender, juicy and had a slightly salty aftertaste to it.

All in all, good meal for broke students studying in Yishun
