Not sure what took me so long to finally try this. Had a blast trying the different bagel variations! + the playlist was just on point. This would be my go-to joint anytime anyday

Amazing deal w burpple beyond! Not really a huge fan of paying steep prices for atasfied hawker food but this was some great wanton noodle. Though the shiitake was a little salty, it was soft and easy to bite into. Same can be said for the char siew! Surprisingly only waited 5 mins to get in during lunch time.

every element seriously worked for me (ignore that pathetic strand of vegetable of course). Incredibly tender and fatty char siew (YOLO) that you could tell was marinated thoughtfully. Didn’t expect the egg noodles to be THIS springy too!

Bought the small signature wanton mee bowl on burpple beyond. Noodles was springy, wantons were soft and char siew had a good texture! Definitely a bang for your buck w this 1 for 1 deal (paid $4.80 in total). A better-than-average wanton mee tucked away from the heat - it’s a yay from me I’d say!

Ordered every Haus Pasta on burpple beyond. Pasta is my favourite carb and it always delights me when someone/some place gets it right! This is another one on the list that I’ll recommend for people who are seeking for tasty and refreshing handmade pasta. Every dish was great in its own right, but my fav was the vege pasta which was seasoned in pesto sauce and topped with amazing, creamy mushrooms! I’m sold.

If you’re looking for a refreshing, tasty and balanced meal I don’t think you could go wrong w this one! I do think it is slightly pricey though but i think this is one of those dishes you can’t go wrong with.

I don’t care what anyone says but I still think THW sells one of the best dim sums in Singapore. The bbq char siew buns are my go-to and they never disappoint.

Bought the $7.90 fave voucher for 1 bowl of their signature la mian + 1 side. (I had the pickled cucumber). Frankly disappointed as the soup wasn’t as aromatic as I wished it could be.

Ordered this without battling an eyelid because! Umami!! I would say there was a pretty sufficient umami taste in the pasta though it was slightly oily to my liking. Quite literally wolfed this down because we waited 1 hour for our table so I’m glad this was worth. However I do think this cafe in general is overpriced so wouldn’t be here if not for 1 for 1.
Plus points to the rustic ambience too. AND finally non glaring lights.

I honestly thought you could rarely go wrong with big breakfast but omg the sausage is so incredibly dry. The only moisture from the dish was probably the oil from the parmaham, scrambled eggs and the salad dressing. Couldn’t finish this plate and I always. finish. (expensive) food.

Okay I know the main is the beef cheek itself and it is pretty good (although too fatty for my liking..) BUT can we just talk about the oven-baked kale??? I was just sold!

Barramundi was so-so. Slightly disappointing as I was expecting a smoother texture but this was overly chewy to my liking. Not a fish expert so it could just be the way barramundi is meant to be. The salad however was refreshing and balanced out the heaviness of the fish.
I gotta say though, the storefront blended well into its surroundings that I was slightly awed by the pretty ambience inside. It’s definitely a good place to hide from the sun and the crowd.
