We wanted to try this place out since it was on Beyond.

My favourite part of the dish was the mushroom which was packed with umami flavour. The egg was very bland, although cooked to a good consistency with slightly runny yolk.

The beef however, tasted nothing like beef I know. In fact it reminded me of minced meat balls. Maybe Maru was going for a different type of beef bowl than one that I am familiar with. My friends were not as dissatisfied as I was but regardless, I did not enjoy the meal.

My second time coming here and its still as good as I remember! Heap tons of quality beef, alongside an onsen egg. With burpple beyond it just makes sense to get the big bowl - which is definitely going to be filling even if you're a big eater :)

Salmon poke bowl was reasonably priced esp with student discount. Sufficient salmon was given but my only gripe is that there was tooooo much sauce (mayo I think). Masked the flavour of everything else.

Really good. Especially worth after using Beyond. Get the big bowl cause it's that good!!

Food was good. Had the truffle bowl. Will come back
