This was probably one of the best food I had during my recent Johor Bahru (JB) trip. Or is it because I love desserts? Haha. 😆 Though I wish the coconut meat was softer, the rich avocado cream 🥑 blended with coconut milk was good. Not too sweet and there was some chunks of avocado. Yummy! 👍

Recently headed to JB for a day trip, but sadly it wasn't as good as expected. R&F Mall located within walking distance from the CIQ was totally quiet with only a few stores open, while Paradigm Mall only had 1 store that I was attracted to (@KaisonMalaysia has many pretty & affordable household products!).

Perhaps it was a case of expectations being too high or maybe because we didn't do enough research for hidden finds (I heard that there are several nice cafes!). Or... perhaps it's time to set our eyes on other travel spots? 😊.

Throwback to the affordable Chinese meal we had at City Square Mall in JB Malaysia. It is always tempting to go overseas to enjoy new experiences and of course, take advantage of the favourable exchange rates. Busy days always make me feel extra wanderlust.
