Can’t travel because of covid? No problem! You don’t have to travel all the way to Penang to settle your cravings for asam laksa and char kway teow, when you can have these delights here. Both dishes were great and we liked how the char kway teow was not too oily. A+!
Waited pretty long for this laksa. It had a homely taste and was easy to finish as the soup was not too thick!
Little balls of soupy goodness at hawker prices! Really giving dintaifung a run for their money. We had 10 pieces of xiaolongbao for $6.50. This is definitely a must try if you’re in Chinatown.
Best carrot cake in sg by far, definitely worth the trip down!

The curry had just the right amount of coconut to make it lemak, and the perfect ratio of spices to give it a nice kick. We got the whole fish head for $40 and it was huge - enough to feed 10 hungry bellies. A really great under the radar tze char!

Noodles were cooked in a deep and rich seafood broth with a nice umami kick. Loved how they put the crispy deep fried pork belly on top of the noodles, which was a nice touch as most stalls just cook their pork belly together with the noodles, making them soggy.

Definitely come with an empty stomach as they serve up big portions with a variety of ingredients including pork ribs, charsiew, boiled & fried wantons, and shuijiao. Be careful of the chilli as it is deadly spicy!

Their regular bowl is priced at $6.50. The noodles were dark, sweet and flavourful. Prawns were fresh and juicy. Meatball had a Chinese wine taste to it which I really liked. Toasted Kurobuta pork was sweet and bursting with umami. Onsen egg made the noodles creamy. Their prawn soup was amazingly flavourful without any MSG added.

The egg was good, soft, and runny. Char siew pork was thick and generous. Wantons were big and had a great bite to it. Loved the deep fried prawn potato thing as well.
