Japanese Food
Chanced upon this place, never regret walking in because the food was good. As a fan of anything with mentai sauce, I liked how the top of the maki was fully covered with it. Unlike some places where you could only see one strip of the sauce on top.
Couldn’t wait for photo and we gobbled up one of it. Its sweet, juicy and fragrant. We loved it!
This set was huge! It came with unagi with rice at the bottom, ochazuke broth, chawanmushi, salmon sashimi, gyoza, mochi and pickles. It tastes decent but obviously you would have to go to places that specialises in unagi (like man man or uya) for a better flavoured one. The ochazuke broth is light and a little tasteless when put together with the rice and unagi.

Char grilled chicken here has a little burnt taste which we love! The chicken was sooo tender and tasty even with the burnt taste.
Photos on the menu did not look as juicy as how it was in actual. Totally loved the flavour of the bowl. It comes with mushrooms and beef. The beef was chewy and well marinated. The mushroom coated with sauce was sweet and yummy!
It is located at a quiet area of Millenia walk somewhere opposite “We the People” at level 2. The truffle fried rice was fragrant and flavourful enough, there are shrimp roes in it, so you feel the “pop” inside your mouth when you bite on it. The salmon was a little thin but with a generous amount of mentaiko sauce which makes it a little salty but still acceptable for me because I love mentai!! Wished that the salmon was thicker though. Will be back to try the other things on the menu!
