Korean Food
I decided to give this newly opened restaurant that is tucked away in a corner in Millennia walk a try thanks to Burrple 1 for 1 deal. I was craving for some Korean fries chicken and this seems like the perfect place for that. The chicken came in enormous portions and as such soy garlic sauce can also be found on the fried chicken chicken. The interior of the chicken was rather bland even though it's soft. Also, the marination could be better as the chicken was a tad too salty. Overall, I would say it's still an eatery worth visiting!
There is this saying that you should order pancake at a Korean restaurant if you would like to gauge how authentic it is. As easy as it looks, the trick lies in getting a batter that isn't too thick so that it could be crispy on the outside and yet still noisy and soft on the inside. I felt that this pancake has met my expectation but it would be better if it were a little crispier on the surface.
A very affordable lunch set at just 12++ and the side dishes went really well with the soup. The only thing that could be improved would be not to overcook the prawn.
While the Spam fries were very well fried, the highlight was the dip which I believe might be a combination of the gochujang sauce and mayo. It complimented the spam fries really well.
I thought it was just gonna be any like other mushroom except that it was so juicy and it went well with the Yakult Makgeolli I ordered
This one was a little too creamy for my liking as cheese was added in addition to the already creamy base. The seafood was wonderful though. Will come back to try something new
Another dish that striked the jackpot, the chicken went really well with the Makgeolli as it was crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside. Joo bar really wowed me so much that I can wait to be back to try other dishes already!!
It had me at the first bite; I was literally exclaiming how could this be so delicious. It is rare to find chips that are crispy and yet not too oily. What's more is the guacamole and kimchi salsa that came along with it, totally made my night. Definitely a must visit place, good food and drinks!!
Definitely the highlight of the day and the most memorable alcoholic drink I had in a long time. I am a big lover of Makegeolli but this way surpassed my expectations as the alcohol content and green grape extract was nicely mixed.
This was my favourite of the 2 we ordered as the cheese cream and Tom yum blended nicely with the noodle as it left a nice sour and spicy after taste. Not to mention that they were extremely generous with the seafood eg mussels, squid and prawns. Would definitely be back to try other dishes soon!
I was lucky to be able to get 1 for 1 due to the promotion for their 6 new dishes. While this dish was listed as a best seller, I felt that the noodle did not go with the broth. In addition, the service could be much better as I had to wait for quite a while before our orders were taken.
Ordered this as a top up for 8 dollars and it was worth every cent. The unagi was well cooked and really tender. Highly recommended if you are looking to share a combo set
