Apart from the fact that the prawns are fresh, there is nothing else that makes this dish stands out. The hor fun was clumpy, making it extremely difficult to mix with the sauce / eat. It was dry and almost bland!
This plate of beehoon is good for 3-4 to share if you're getting accompanying zhi char dishes as well. It has a decent amount of wok hei, and the noodles are al dente, making it a really nice dish overall. However, it is quite pricey given the amount of protein (meat) that was on the plate was rather little.
My favourite kaya ever!! This homemade kaya is not overly sweet, has an intoxicating fragrance of coconut milk, and has a texture that almost resembles a cloud. It is a very refreshing change from your typical extremely sweet and sticky traditional kaya!

One of my favourite pies! This is an old school banan pie that has thick banana chunks in the middle, encased in a buttery crust that incorporates coconut flakes! It's really light and easy to eat so the slice will be gone in no time.
I think whether you'll like this dish depends on whether you like your chee cheong fun soft or slightly chewy. I prefer chewy chee cheong fun, so this wasn't my cup of tea. That being said, it was really fragrant and soft so go for it if thats what you like! Be prepared to queue for at least 20mins
One of my favourite pratas! The plain prata has a crispy exterior with a fluffy interior, and the egg prata is really fluffy on the inside as well.
The curry could be improved on, but the prata is worth making a trip down for :)
One of my favourite bak chor mee in singapore!! It has just the right amoun of vinegar and spice, and the noodle is really Q/al dente! The soup is also to die for
It opens till really late so it's a great supper spot as well
One of the best pandan chiffon cakes i've tasted! It's fluffy, moist and soft all at the same time. Also not overly sweet!
This is one of my favourite hokkien mees! It is served with some broth, which the noodles eventually soaked up (making the noodles really fragrant)! It has a rather generous serving of siew yoke, prawns and clams!
This colonial platter comes with kueh pie tee, satay , fried chicken wings, and popiah, amongst others.
The individual componenets tasted pretty good, even though it seemed gimmicky to me at first! Its great for sharing, perhaps as a starter before mains are served!
The chicken was flavourful and tender, while i thought the rice was really mediocre. But mediocre rice almost always means that it is healthier as they use less oil and salt!
The vegetable soup was complimentary and it tasted really good!
