Cheap Yummy Food Worth The Try Before You Die
From a distance, the aroma of sizzling rice with dark sauce fill your senses and before you know it, the rice is quickly mixed up with the meat and sauce. Delicious and comforting, the second bite continues after the first. Thigh meat and every bite is juicy. Taste buds are quickly awakened by the next mouthful of rice with that little joyful bit of saltiness that comes possibly from the little dried prawns. Third time eating this in 3 weeks and definitely more in the upcoming weeks! Only $5 for individual portion with huge portions of thigh meat and lap cheong.
Ordered Kra Pow Pork and it comes with a fried egg and rice. Yummy basil pork and sauce but if only it could be a tad spicier for the oompf! Also tried the XL tom yum soup but it serves 4, less spicy than I would have liked. Also, the seafood wasn't fresh. Fried Silver fish was too overfried. Would come back again to try other dishes though, to confirm whether it's worth more regular future visits!
I would opt for prawn & pork ribs noodle soup, big size for more meat! Friend mentioned that dry's worth a try too! It opens 11am-4pm so we see mostly lunch crowd. They don't give customised order like adding pig's tail (you may order number 1 if you like pig's tail) but they allow to add pig's skin. Super tasty broth which doesn't make you crave for water the entire day!
