We were pretty satisfied with our chirashi dons as they gave generous servings of fresh sashimi. The soft shell crab maki was amazing with the mentaiko blowtorched to perfection. Staff was very attentive as well. Would return again!
We ordered 3 items - the special sashimi bowl ($35), sashimi bowl ($20) and a 5-piece sushi set B ($13). The special sashimi bowl (in this photo) comes with salmon, fatty tuna, scallops and uni, while the sashimi bowl serves the usual bara salmon and tuna. Overall, I am not impressed with this place both in terms of the food and service. The sashimi was average and not extremely fresh. However, I would say that the $20 sashimi bowl is value for money with their rather generous servings. I may return if iām in the vicinity and craving a simple Japanese donburi fix.
The hype finally died down a bit so we managed to get in with just 15 minutes of queueing on a weekend evening. Previously, Iāve tried to queue for this twice and both times the estimated queue time was >2 hours.
The menu is straightforward with few options and we mostly went for the omurice ($9.90) with cheese sauce ($2). In my honest opinion, this is the most disappointing Keisuke outlet yet. I loved the tsukemen at Kani King (Cineleisure) and ramen at Tonkatsu King (Tanjong Pagar). The best part of the meal would probably be the extra Terkiyaki Chicken Hamburg ($3) that we ordered. However, have to say that the portions are very generous and you can even upsize the rice to large for free.
Overall, would say itās value for money but I would likely not return again.
Never knew that this place has a pretty decent variety of food to choose from. Went with the Aburi wagyu beef don because it sounded so good! Portions were okay but it wasnāt amazing.
We couldnāt wait for all the food to come to snap a pic, so thereās only 1 slice of sashimi left š Have been wanting to try this place for awhile and it really did live up to our expectations!! Probably the Japanese restaurant with the best value for money - fresh sashimi with 1-for-1 on some weekdays. Unfortunately they ran out of many options, so we only tried the salmon sashimi. Will definitely come back again :-)
Loved this!! Super authentic. This is my second time at trying Keisuke (first being the ramen at Tanjong Pagar which was awesome as well). Reminiscent of the tsukemen I had in japanšš¼
3rd time here but first time with burpple beyond. Nothing to shout about, but the portion and quality is definitely worth it for the relatively low price! Would return again for a quick fix
They ran out of their signature truffle beef don so we all got mentaiko salmon don. Generous amounts of salmon but perhaps too much mentaiko? Would come back only if itās 1-for-1!
Been here at least 10 times. The shiok maki never disappoints
Nice place! Ordered the premium donburi bowl ($98). Worth it with 1 for 1
We got the sushi course ($80++) which includes a 8 piece sushi platter and Uni and ikura rice amongst other dishes. Chef prepared all the dishes in front of us and would introduce them. Ambience was good and we were the only customers at that time. Overall good experience!
Got the normal set and was served within 5 minutes! No queue as well as we went near the closing time of 230pm. Portion was good but a tad pricey.
