The normal appearance of the croissant is so deceiving that you wouldn’t believe that the texture of the croissant is so buttery-smooth and so velvety soft! The crust of the croissant was not too flaky to cause a messy eat and the fragrance of it when it’s freshly bake, was teasing my smell-senses! At S$1.60, it is slightly pricey. However, it’s worth every dime if you love wonderful pastries. Goes well with a warm drink too!
Pullman Bakery just opened a 2nd outlet st Tanjong Pagar, 100am! Tried their Apple Danish because the tray was almost empty. Good Danish pastries are hard to find and boy! I understood why the Apple Danish tray was almost empty! The glazed bread was soft & buttery! The Apple jam was actually filled with bite size Apple bits which still retains the crunchy bite. Personally, I like it because the Apple jam was not too sweet and yet it has a slight tart taste to balance it off. Overall, a Must try for a S$2.50 pastry.
