Jin Jin Hot/Cold Dessert’s famous Power Cendol. The ice is smooth, cendol jelly is soft too. The only gripe is the fragrance from the coconut milk is overpowered by the large amount of gula melaka

Walked by and decided to have the tom yum pork (Small:$4.80, large: $5.80). The tom yum soup base was delish! It hd the right amount of spice and fragrance from the herbs. Even better still, there is no MSG in the soup. The staff is friendly and helpful too, recommending dishes to me and asking for my feedback.

The green cendol from Old Amoy is soft and fresh. Simple old school dessert with coconut milk, cendol, red beans and a generous dose of gula melaka. It’s simple but delicious and cheap ($2)! 👍🏼

The chargrilled chicken with choice of 2 sides ($7) is well-cooked, with crispy thin skin and juicy meat. The mashed potato is also well seasoned. The sauce for the chicken and potato is a little salty for me, but overall it’s a good chicken chop.

The noodles are Q and the chilli is addictive! The uncle also give a generous serving of fried onions and lard, which adds extra fragrance to the bowl of BCM.
