Other classic dim sum dishes we got: Siew Mai, Har Gao, Fried Prawn Roll and Signature Beancurd with Mango Salad

Do note that mayonnaise sauce is at an additional 50 cents though, unless you order the fried shrimp dumpling

Get their porridge too (2 pax portion) that is served in a claypot! Many choices to choose from. We got the claypot frog leg porridge! The porridge was very fragrant with the fried garlic!

126 Dim Sum has reopened at 1086 Serangoon Rd!

The crab dishes are real affordable, at just $28! There are 4 choices to choos from: Vermicelli Crab, White Pepper Bee Hoon Crab, Chilli Crab with Bun & Garlic Steam Crab. I highly recommend the Vermicelli Crab! The vermicelli soaked up all the sauce so so good! Plus the crab was meaty and fresh!

This is my second time at Fatcat! Visited years ago when they were at Bedok! Now they have reopened at Kovan at 15 Simon Road!

However, the Kovan outlet doesn't have any proper table and chair seatings. Only small side tables or a standing table area. Not a very convenient place if you want to enjoy the waffle and ice cream in comfort!

Here is what we got
-Brown Butter Waffle ($7.50) with Osmanthus Oolong and Yuzu Matcha ($10 for double scoop)

The Yuzu Matcha was a pretty interesting flavour! Japanese Green tea + Fresh Kochi Yuzu.
As for the Osmanthus Oolong, I kept thinking it will taste like the White Chrysanthemum Osmanthus Oolong, but it wasn't, this had a stronger tea flavour. I prefer something lighter!

Address: 15 Simon Rd, Singapore 545907

Legacy Pork Noodles! This stall is known for their authentic Malaysian Style Pork Noodles!

We got the Signature Pork Noodles in Dry version (soup version is also available). You can choose your preferred noodles. We got Mee Pok and Mee Kia! (other noodle options: Hor Fun, Mee Tai Mak, Beehoon, Yee Mian, Koka Noodles, Yellow Noodles and Mee Sua). For the signature pork noodles, it comes with pork intestine, kidney and liver. If you do not take the pork innards, the no organ option is also available and you will be getting pork balls, pork slices and minced meat with a fried beancurd!

The noodle was qq and it comes with minced meat and pork lard too! Soup was flavourful and I loved the think chunks of minced meat!

Chao Yuan Noodles !

Love their chewy boing boing mee pok noodles, but not a fan of their porky smell soup. But they do give alot of pork meat portions!

They have a few outlets in Singapore!

Tuk Tuk Cha at NEX is now Tuk Tuk Cha Treasures! Now you can get your favourite specialty stir fry dishes here too!

Featured here are the following food items:
-Signature Krapow chicken ($10): My top favourite food items at Tuk Tuk Cha Treasures! Level 2 spiciness is just right for me!
-Chicken Omelette ($10): Crispy fluffy eggy goodness!
-Tom Yum Mama ($11): This tom yum mama noodle soup has so much ingredients! There is prawn, mushrooms, meatballs and fish slices!
-Gai Ping ($9): Perfectly grilled chicken skewers!
-Cocolaka ($4): Coconut Ice cream with Gula Melaka sauce and sago!

Lost count of the number of times I have patronised this place for dim sum! This is the go-to place whenever I feel like eating dimsum, but sick of the dimsum near to my house (there are around 7 famous dim sum shops near my place lol), because the prices here are considered affordable (as compared to the more famous dim sum shops).

Was also having sore throat during the day of the visit, hence it explains all the steamed dimsum selected here! The best find was the steamed carrot cake!! It was exceptionally good (have always been ordering the fried carrot cake previously, so happy to discover this gem)! The chee cheong fan was also smooth!

The worst item here was the beancurd roll. The fillings seemed pink and sticky... I don't even know if it was cooked LOL

Location: 1012 Upper Serangoon Rd, #1012, Singapore 534750

Complete your foodie trip visit by heading to Yong's Teochew Kueh to get some kueh back home! My favourite kueh here is hands down the YAM KUEH!

@momotaru.sg specialises in coconut and avocado shakes!

They use fresh Thai young coconuts and avocados here! They offer a very wide range of drink shakes choices!

Featured here are the following items:
-Avocado Coconut Shake ($6.50 for L:): My favourite avocado + coconut combination! Rich and creamy tasty drink!

-Gula Melaka Coconut shake ($6.50 for L): This is part of the Nonya Delights new flavour series! Sweet gula melaka with cruncy coconut bits!

-New Coconut Punch Series (Mango Coconut Punch; $4.90): Woah I enjoyed this drink sooo much! The mango jelly layer was very soft and smooth! Punch the jelly with the straw to see a pretty mix of yellow and white colours! There is chewy konnyaku jelly in the jelly layer as well! Totally LOVE this!

-Coconut Pudding ($4.2 for L): The pudding is made of two distinctive layers. The bottom later is made with 100% pure coconut water! Very refreshing dessert!

Affordable tasty western food from Rise & Grind Grill

-Cream of Mushroom Soup ($3.90+): Very creamy and flavourful mushroom soup! Served with crispy croutons too!
-Onion Rings ($4.90+): Crispy fried onion rings! Served with a side of mayo sauce dip.
-Crispy Chicken wings ($9.9+): Very juicy, crispy and nicely marinated!
-Surf & Turf ($18.90+): For this combo, you get grilled fish and grilled chicken! The chicken chop was grilled to perfection! Super juicy! It comes with a choice of 2 sides. We picked the butter rice and mashed potatoes and they turned out to be the best side dishes ever! This butter rice looked plain, but lo and behold, it was super flavourful! Tastiest butter rice ever that I could not stop eating it! The mashed potato was also very soft and creamy, and the mashed potato sauce was super good!
-Fish and chips ($15.90+): Very huge portions of fried fish fillet given. Two huge slabs! It is served with crispy fries and salad.
-Lava cake with ice cream ($7.90+): For the ice cream, you can choose between strawberry, chocolate or vanilla ice cream! Two whole scoops of ice cream are given too! Moist lava cake with super oozy chocolate centre!
-Iced Earl Grey Milk Tea ($3.90+)
-Lychee Lemonade ($3.50+): This came with 2 lychees too!

Indulge yourself once in a PINK moon!

Was surprised to find it crowded even on a friday mid-day timing! The cafe was fully occupied shortly after I arrived!

Tried the following items:

Raspberry lychee Rose Tea cake ($7.20): Was initially apprehensive about ordering the tea cakes, but having read good reviews for it I decided to give it a go! Also because it was sooo pretty! It was surprisingly moist, not hard/dense at all, and it was served warm! There was lychee bites in the cake too!

Grape Yakult Honey Sencha ($6.50): Got a drink because I didnt have stomach space for another cake! The drink was soooo pretty! In pink and purple hue! But other than that, I find it quite hard to justify its price tag though. But once in awhile to indulge and pamper yourself, I am all for it!

There are so many other cakes here that I want t o try, and their signature brown butter waffles with gelato! Will be back!

New Mookata Spot - @wanwanmookata at Macpherson Area!

I am glad to find another delicious eatery spot in the Macpherson area!

Featured here is the fun size package ($32.80) which is good for 1-2 pax! You get black pepper pork collar, garlic overdosed chicken thigh, tiger prawns, abalone, sausages, crabstick, meatballs, cheese tofu, quail eggs, enoki mushrooms, vegetables, tanghoon, tomyum mama noodles and an egg!

What is also special about this mookata place is that they also serve premium ingredients like the following items! These items can be ordered as ala carte items (min $25 order) or add-on to your bundle meal:
Hokkaido scallops
Jumbo Oysters
Thai sausages
Shishamo

I also super love the thai dipping sauces they gave! Both the red and chilli! Went very well with the grilled meats and seafood!

Our favourite way of eating the mookata is to grill the ingredients; boil the ingredients in the chicken soup; taste enough of the chicken soup; before turning the soup into tom yum noodle soup; and ending off with a wobbly egg!

Check them out at 171 Macpherson Road, Singapore 348536. Their operating hours are 5-11pm daily, as well as 11am-2pm on weekdays.
