This was really good! Came with lots of fresh fruits and granola.

I think the standard of the cream puffs has dropped SEVERELY from the last time I've been here 2 years ago. The rum ball was dry and required all my post-workout energy to break apart. Do not recommend either anymore, sadly. Breads are still decent though! It's a pity cos this used to be my favorite bakery ever when I was schooling nearby in JC.

Part of the 4-course Xmas set meal at SGCC ($25.80) - - pretty light-tasting end to a very big meal. Given that most pumpkin pies you'd get outside would likely cost at least ~$6, this was really worth it!

This was lovely! The lightly sweetened tau huay balanced out the richness of the avocado. Sprinkled liberally with sunflower and pumpkin seeds, this dessert was a brilliant end to a v hearty canto meal.

This was delicious. It sits tinier than the one at Mr Obanyaki at takashimaya food hall but with a much heftier price tag ($3.50). Perhaps because of the additional Warabi mochi which isn't common, but still - I would be hesitant to try this again.

I LOVE TBB's iced flat white ($5) and if you're a regular you'd know there's an espresso ice ball in there which melts slowly into the milk so your coffee isn't cold BUT diluted. Wasn't that big a fan of the French toast though, would stick with their savoury offerings like the avo and pesto on croissants etc, which I found much more value for money given that both are the same price (around $8)

Black sesame cake and tiramisu from nesuto, a cozy space around the tanjong pagar/duxton which was perfect for a post Friday-night dinner. Preferred the goma cake here to the one at Hvala - - far lighter, fluffier and easier on the palate with an equally strong black sesame flavour, which I really loved. The tiramisu was okay but not fantastic imo. Nonetheless these desserts, originally $9 and $11.50 respectively, were much more worth it on #burpplebeyond! They also have a really interesting range of teas to go with your desserts -- both hot and cold brewed. Boyfriend and I tried pandan, which isn't really up my alley but the others looked promising too.

I think it was $3. I don't know why reviews fawn upon them, I found the breads here to be very average and one of the owners horribly reticent, ruining my experience entirely, but maybe it was just an off day for them.
