Despite having a long queue and a unique "shout your number" system. The noodles were disappointing and a letdown. The wanton was also pretty average and nothing to boast of. Only the char siew was slightly better than the ones I have had, with a little sweeter and tender taste to it. Would rather eat the laksa served right beside it next time.
A friend of mine mentioned that this stall in our neighborhood was mentioned in the newspaper and I decided to give it a try. The noodles were really good as they were made on the spot and that the correct texture that what traditional la mien should have. However, the chicken chop was cold and the sauce in satisfying. Ended up only finishing up half of it. 6/10
Found this in the hawker section of the people park complex. Pretty interesting dish, felt like kway chap with noodles, along with some cuttlefish and veggie. At $2.50, this was quite a cheap thrill for me! The soup had a sweet and beanish taste which I had never tasted before. Shall be back to try out their main dishes one day!
This laksa served by the fishball noodles stall is only available during weekends and hence decided to give it a try! Pretty decent! It's good enough to satisfy the laksa cravings of mine with those fresh cockles they serve!
From the first bite, the beef patty proves to be juicy and of a higher quality than the regular fast food chains. However, as I continued to finish the (waited for 5 hours) burger, I couldn't find anything else special about the burger :(
It's good to try one of this but the original fish one is still the best!!!
Comfort food bought by uncle to satisfy the cravings that I always have for this Singaporean dish. :)
If you ask me which shop'a ice cream is the best for me, I will never say cold stone or any shops along those lines. It will always be the uncle selling ice cream on his motorbike, the ones where he will use a special scoop to pick up the spheres of ice cream that is stored in his cold barrel. At $1, I will always ask for a cup of mixed flavors, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and sometimes I will stumble upon his new flavors this way. It also comes with peanut bits and it just makes the ice cream even crunchier. The only clue I have when he will ever appear, are those times when classes ended in school and there will students surrounding him with all sorts of requests. With each bite, I was reminded of those good times that I've had since young :)
Freshly made ice cream by liquid nitrogen. $4.80 for the basic flavors, $6 for the premium ones. I have to say the taste is indeed different although it does not leave a very deep impression for me
This might be a little weird, but to me, this was the most SHIOK drink of the night!!!!!
I have no idea what it is but it's super tasty!
The real deal. Enough said.
