Indulge in dishes like the fragrant Fortune Pot in Peking Style with your family 🍲 There were many layers from shark’s fin, abalone and prawn as the first, roast pork, mushroom and yam as the second, and chicken and cabbage as the third. A really great dish for sharing and was surprisingly so filling too!

One of the must tries here include the Smoked Chicken in Ginger which was a kampung chicken cooked with a traditional HK recipe, making it so tender and juicy.
You may also indulge in their Crispy Rice with Sri Lankan Crab in a pork & chicken bone soup. The crab meat was soft and sweet, it was just a delight having this dish 🦀
The Iced Sweet and Sour Pork was really interesting as they served the pork on a plate of ice. Also instead of using tomato-based sauce, they used a signature orange sauce which was really sweet and a refreshing take on this familiar dish. #eastbistro #myvillage #serangoongardens

The Signature Beef Combination Noodle ($16.50) served had 3 types of beef in it – Ribeye, Tendon and Shank.
We got this with the braised beef soup which was more of a clear and light soup. The portions of beef were really generous and they were all really tender.
You can then choose your level of spiciness – Non-spicy, Mala or Extra Mala. For both the noodles we ordered, we got the non-spicy option and really enjoyed it on its own 🌶

Da Miao Hot Pot is one of the leading hot pot cultures from Chengdu, Sichuan.
If you’re looking for something to eat in the cold weather, you should give the Traditional Yuan Yang Soup Pot ($20) a go 🤤 It consists of a Fresh Mushroom & Pig Bone Soup on one side and Damiao Special Spicy Soup on the other 🌶
They serve the most exotic dishes I’ve ever seen like Swine Trachea ($16) and Fresh Tripe ($16). The swine trachea is basically like a pig’s windpipe (6th pic) and it had a crunchy bite to it while the fresh tripe is the stomach (1st pic) and it was really soft and chewy.

Slurped down a good bowl of the DUOTOU Clam Soup with Tofu Meatballs ($19.80/small, $29.80/medium) from @putien_sg 🍲 Don’t miss these seasonal fresh clams that are traditionally boiled with cauliflowers and tofu meatballs to bring out the natural sweetness.
My mouth nearly died from the Grilled Golden Mushrooms ($6.80) from @thehungrycavemansg because they were so spicy but my mum finished the whole plate so I guess it’s really good!
