Noodlelicious
BY FAR, the best bowl of lor mee i ever had. The gravy is so smooth, not too salty, very fragrant, and binds together all the ingredients really well together. Every bite pack with the coriander aroma, smoothly salted fish pieces, slight vinegar punch, fragrant from the chilli paste, and lastly the garlic to make the taste deeper. It is amaaazzinngg. MUST TRY
The battered fish is freshly fried, crispy on the outside and moist and flaky fish meat in the inside. However the pasta lacks a bit flavour, perhaps there can be more garlic put into making it. Overall, the ingredients tasted quite fresh and i am satisfied with the price point of 9.80 SGD, good value for money consider there are 3 battered fish served. Go try it!
This bowl of udon soup is my favourite. Broth has a good level of soy saltiness flavour and the udon is bouncy and Q! I love it that much more because you can pair every bite with their free flow side dishes like seaweed, radish, chilli padi, and fried batter flakes. It may not look filling, but if u enjoy the sides as much as i do, this will most definitely fill you up. Go give it a try guys its worth a taste!
The Dry Chilli Pan Mee here is awesome! Meaty savoury from the minced pork sauce, fried shallot pieces and anchovies make this bowl of noodle stand out when mixed together. The noodle is well cooked with a tougher texture which holds the ingredients well. The chilli is the key, with your choice of adding any amount, it gives the bowl a necessary kick from its meaty and savoury flavour. A good bowl of noodles! And with the soft boiled eggs on top, this can be to die for!
