The Eggs Cheese Floss Prata (approx. $5) was a unique combination filled with a generous portion of cheese and floss. Definitely order it again.
The Masala Chicken set with 5 Coin Prata (approx. $8) is another order not to miss if you like your prata thick crispy n crusty, and do not mind a different kind of Indian spice flavour chicken.
The braised pork belly (lorbak) so tender the fats melt in your mouth, without any oily feel.
The slow braised trotter has a generous portion of fat that is smooth n just a bit chewy in texture.
Both were braised in dark sauce but each had its own unique flavour.

Each bowl of noodles is cooked till al dente, served with sliced pork, minced meat, pork liver, braised mushroom n slices of fishcake. Special recipe braised mushroom sauce is added at the end to give a strong flavours of tanginess from the addition of black vinegar.
The boys liked theirs with generously scattered pork lard n requests will be granted!
Iām not a noodle fan but I love my mee sau nicely done here šš
p.s. be prepared to queue for at least 30mins after 7.30am
The signature dish Ayam Penyet (smashed fried chicken) was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.Ā I got the breast meat today so it wasnāt as well-marinated and juicy as the thigh. The chilli paste, unique blend of chili padi and diced tomatoes was suitably spicy without being overpowering.Ā The set supposedly comes with rice and a piece of fried tofu, veggies and some tempeh. But these was no tempeh in any plate on my table this time; very disappointed as I was looking forward to it.
If you love food from Indonesia,Ā the ayam bakar set is also šš»
We also ordered the iced chendol ($3). There was a generous dollop of gula melaka in the small glass, but there wasĀ only the green chendol and black grass jelly in it, no red beans or other ingredients.Ā
Also donāt bother trying the sambal Kang Kong as it really does not taste like it at all; just Kang Kong in the dilute sauce; a disappointment.
A good spread of Teochew dishes. The fish we choose was fresh n nicely cooked and most of the dishes of the norm. The bruised pork couldāve been more tender though.
A minus point was that they asked us to take our seats and then told us to bring all our orders to our own table despite they were rather free since it was not crowded at all.
Opens 10.30am to 5am
