Good Brunch
Extremely fancy brunch spot! The food was very good albeit a bit decadent so only go if you're willing to fork over the cash. The upstairs seating is much nicer and quieter as well as having a nice window view if you can get it!
1000% worth the hype!!! So soft and pillowy and airy, and filling without sinking in your stomach!!! The cream was amazing and you could tell the raw ingredients were top quality to begin with.
Lovely cafe to sit and have a snack or light brunch at while doing work. Loads of power points for charging laptops and free wifi! The coffee is definitely the highlight. The GF cake was supplied by the Oh My Goodness bakery that specialises in solely GF bakes so you know it's legit.
I'm not a fan of runny egg whites so the poached egg was a bit disappointing for me, but that's simply a personal taste! The rest of the dish wasn't disappointing at all and the tobiko hollandaise was different and tasty. The salmon don was the perfect size for a healthily filling lunch that didn't leave one feeling too heavy!
My sister is gluten intolerant and it can often be hard to find western food that is either low or without gluten that she can eat. These waffles are SO good! They are light and springy and not super filling. The restaurant also makes their own almond milk as well as many other delicious gluten free pastries.
Ate here with my mum on the weekend ans got to sample the brunch menu. The sauce on the eggs benedict was so lovely and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The eggs on the avocado toast were also so well cooked- whites were hard and yolk was runny. I loved that they added cherry tomatoes as well as feta cheese to upgrade the regular boring avocado egg toast too.
I love love LOVED the crunchy layer of sugar over the bananas and french toast!!! The ice cream would have been enough, but there was whipped cream too! Worth it.
Yeah yeah ok I went to another sister restaurant as Atlas. BUT I had a different dish!!! Kinda!!!!!! Just as good as the banana pancake at Atlas and Columbus. I just love it so much.... This one is def smaller though which is nice as I struggle to finish the banana one!!!
Yes I went to the sister restaurant just to try the same dish. Yes it is just as good as the one at Atlas.
BEST. DAMN. PANCAKE.
This was so filling oh my gosh.. I couldn't finish it myself!! It was really good though - nice and fluffy pancakes and the chocolate chunks were not too sweet and even placed in between the pancakes!! Next time I'm sharing this.
Little Farms is very close to me so I thought I'd give it a shot since they are never empty. The pancakes were 17 dollars which is a LOT for 2 pancakes + sprinkling of fruit, butter and syrup. They were quality pancakes though so I wasn't disappointed at least in quality. They were dense but in a nice filling way. There was also a nice chewiness to them that I enjoyed.
Overall I'm not sure if they were worth the hefty price tag and if I do go back, I might just try one of their savoury dishes instead.
