Truffle mushroom taste is just right. 4 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍡

Love the ambience of the cafe. Cuppuccino is decent but cold brew is rather bitter and not to my liking. Banana cake (not in this picture) is dense and well toasted with almonds. Interesting selection of pastries which I’m inclined to try next time. 3.5 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍥

Buttery and crispy croissant paired with smooth and milky scrambled eggs. Mocha is not too sweet or bitter with a nice hint of chocolate. One of the best I’ve ever had. Love the place and ambience too! Good place for a relaxing brunch. 4 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍡

Extremely nice combination of Salted Egg Lava Cookie with Chocolate and Pistacchio ice cream. Cookie is really yummy. Salted egg filling is light and flowy. Even the smell itself is irresistible! Generally speaking, ice cream flavours from this cafe are rather unique and tasty! It’s my current favourite ice cream place. Excellent service and friendly staff as well. 4 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍡

Cosy burger bar tucked away in a corner of Haji Lane. The best part of the grilled chicken and cheese burger is the crispy and buttery bread. Grilled chicken is rather tender and the avocado gives it a unique blend. Portion is quite small though. Do order your sides. 3 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡

Favourite Ma La of all time. Almost every ingredient goes very well with the sauce, especially the fish! Went for less Chili and oil and it's just right with the numb spicy sensation which lingers in the mouth after. 4 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍡

Noodles has some wok taste and rather rich flavour. Overall it’s quite mediocre. Personally I prefer Hokkien Mee with more gravy. Prawns are quite fresh but small. 3 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡

Porridge cooked to a nice and thick consistency which goes well with the sauce from the Gong Bao Frog legs - right amount of spiciness and fresh tender frog legs. 4 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍡

Best egg omelette ever tasted! So so crispy yet not oily at all. Polished it off in no time. 5 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡

The hyped Unagiya Ichinoji which only took 15 minutes to queue for! Nicely grilled Unagi with slightly chewy texture. It’s a pity that it’s too thinly sliced which makes it hard to taste the flesh. A little lacking in the richness of the sauce as well. 3 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡

Refreshing white cold brew made in house to kick start the morning. Unfortunately it pales a little in comparison to Old Hen’s. Almond croissant with sweet butter kaya filling topped with crunchy roasted almond was rather decent. Nice atmosphere but a little crowded on a Sunday morning. 3 out of 5 mochi 🍡🍡🍡

Presentation of the smoothie is good but the taste is a far cry from it. It has a weird sour taste, which is slightly compensated with the crunchy organic barley topping. Overall, it is not worth it trying. The cafe itself has a nice interior with a warm, cosy feel. 1 out of 5 mochi 🍡
