Hidden Finds
Had a sumptuous peranakan lunch over the weekend at @indocafesg ! A beautiful place with reasonable price point (~$160 for these dishes).

And... I conclude that buah keluak is not my thang. Lol š
This hidden find serves pretty good XO seafood beehoon soup ($8.90) & salted egg seefood beehoon ($8.90). The stall uses mee sua & bee hoon specially imported from Malaysia, different from the ones commonly seen in SG. Very value for money considering its robust flavour and the amt of ingredients in each dish. Go before the queue gets any longer!
Had a pleasant dining experience at @scaledbyahhuakelong ! Love the cosy ambience and attentive service by the staff whom took time to intro the dishes to their diners.

Personal fav is the curry mussel ($16); slurped every bit of the assam curry sauce. The mussels were huge and fresh! The chilli crab risotto ($26,not in their usual menu) itself was a lil salty on its own but goes really well if you have all the elements in one spoonful. Felt that the roasted black grouper ($28) was a lil overcook but nonetheless a good dish!
Found another gem with burpple beyond! Tried bone marrow for the first time and I like it. Felt the love and care in each dish (even the sides). Warrant another visit!

At Dolly Kitchen, you will be spoilt for choices with the extensive menu serving both asian and western cuisines. We tried their Angus Prime Rib steak ($70++, 500g, good for 2-3 pax); perfectly seasoned with good amt of fats in every bit. A must order!
