Good place for friends outing. Awesome banana buttermilk waffle w chocolate sauce and avocado toast w thick bread. Great coffee too, liked the flat white ($6.90)

Came in expecting just another cafefood but am pleasantly surprised that the food here is really good, although the toasts is slightly tough but extremely flavourful with the homemade apple chutney with blue cheese, bacon and spinach. Extremely love the avocado-latte, perfect blend of the avocado and coffee which still goes down smooth and light. Not jelat at all. One of the few gems which serve good food in a beautiful setting. Oh did i mention the pink brick wall is pretty? Will be back definitely!

So when I saw something similar in SG, I had to order it.

Spicy baked eggs with halloumi (S$18) and additional spiced italian sausage (S$4.50), with a flat white (S$4.90). #burpple

Figs is one of those fruit that piques my immediate interest. And it is hard to resist when I know it comes with yogurt ice-cream, buckwheat crumble and a drizzle of honey. The salty facet, courtesy of the butter used for the crumble, gives this light dessert an extra tasty edge that I really enjoy.

This beauty here needs no further introduction for foodies who are active in the cafe scene!

Pretty food is better when it actually tastes good. These muffcakes are fantastic for sweet-tooths, but please do not attempt to polish it off on your own. It gets overwhelming 🙈 •

Single origin or house blend coffee? Both are great in their own way with strong aroma and good body.

Oven baked molten eggs are cooked just right. The cheese wrapping the eggs are addictive and goes well with the sides of avocados and smoked salmon.

The open face toast with bacon is perfect with the freshly diced green apple with sesame seeds, giving the meal a refreshing balance as you chomp through the bacon. What’s most surprising is the FRESH green peas. It’s like edamame but smaller. You’ll probably never want to eat frozen peas again.

Overall a hearty and honest brunch, better than most you find on our tiny island.

Whatever the price was, with the generous amount of strawberries and blueberries as well as the granola it is definitely worth it. This could easily be one of the best tasting waffle I’ve had!

p/s. If you are not exactly a big eater or a person with sweet tooth, order this to share instead of soloing it (— like I did)

Pretty looking but taste wise was not mind blowing. donut was kinda dense, i think it was a bit like a stale choux? Liked the yuzu ice cream though 3.75/5

The toast is accompanied by mixed berries, popcorn, passionfruit and pistachio ice-cream.

While the popcorn feels somewhat unnecessary, the toast has a nice crusty and crisp texture on the outside with a soft interior and is not too sweet, pairing well with the pistachio ice-cream along with the rest of the dish, coming together as something that would otherwise be quite a foolproof yet nevertheless satisfying mix of components. 😋

Pasta portion is just nice for one person and comes with a generous serving of clams! Tasty and not too oily. Highly recommended!
