Thai Tea Crepe Cake - The thin, handmade layers of Thai milk tea-infused crepes saw fresh cream sandwiched between, and was served with a side of Thai milk tea sauce for that extra boost in flavour.Ā

The price was reasonable, the ice cream and cookie crumbles really blend in well with the croissant. Definitely something I would come back for. The staff were very sweet and the place was absolutely cozyš

De-stress on a Friday night over cocktails with your booze buddies. You won't find your run-of-the-mill cocktails here at Brass Lion Distillery, with renditions such as Cheng Tng ($20), Brass Snapper ($22) and Singapore Mule ($20). Want to try them all? They also offer Tasting Flights ($20) of their signature Brass Lion original and Brass Lion Experimentals too!

also glad this place is finally on burpple!! the waffles were warm and soft, the hazelnut nutella ice cream was tasty and complemented the waffles well, and the beer was a great additional touch :) a friday evening well spent!
Edith has been on my list of places to try for years, but Iāve always skipped it due to the absence of dine-in facilities. My generous friend gifted me with a box of hazelnut brownies ($9 for 6 squares) - finally an opportunity to try its highly raved about bakes! The brownie is made with a rich chocolate, sweet with a tinge of bitterness. There is a hint of orange before the nutty flavour sets in. They recommend leaving it out for 30 min before consumption - best way for it to achieve a beautiful fudge consistency! Canāt wait to try their cakes and tarts š
Earl grey taste wasnāt strong enough but the peanut toppings were yummy and crunchy! Used Burpple Beyond deal for this (:
My 2nd favourite of all is their Ribena Yakult followed after Dragon Melon Frappe that is made with 100% real dragon fruit and melon with nice natural purple colour, rich in antioxidant and vitamin c. Most importantly, the taste is excellent with well complement taste of each fruit. š
Love Churros and Waffles? I had my cravings for both satisfied when my friend brought me to @froroll.sg.
I love Churros Waffles that came along with ice-cream rolls! Taste was great and not too sweet and the dark chocolate sauce that came with it. Perfect for tea and share with a friend and save some space for dinner. š“
The pastries here were so pretty and they tasted good. I also loved the pancakes and the curly fries. In fact this was a perfect place to hang out with your pet dogs. They welcome our fur kids!
A great start to an amazing morning, Mother Dough Bakeryās Almond Croissant ($4.20) was smashingly good. Deceptively plain looking, theĀ halal artisanal bakeryās best selling pastry was anything but ordinary. The tantalizing frangipane being the main highlight for me byĀ keeping the interior soft as well as slightly fluffy. Halved horizontally, the brown beauties were filled end-to-end with the fragrant almond-flavoured cream and a bite will reveal the all heavenly, buttery and nutty core. None too cloying, it was one of the best I have tried. With that said, a quick pop into the toaster to warm it up also did wonders to the flaky shell and crunchy flakedĀ almonds atop.Ā And if croissant with jam is a true classic, their almond croissant studded with blueberries were quite a treat - slightly sweeter with pops of tartness.
Making room for different concepts in their three-storey shophouse, Grids & Circles is a lifestyle cafe that aims to be a āgymā for creatives as well as a space to promote health and wellness. Keeping that in mind, their menus were a mash-up of Western and Japanese influences with offerings available at different times of the day.
But a perfect snack every time and day, their signature Tamago SandoĀ ($12) was absolutely smashing. A captivating blend of flavours, the layer of refreshing homemade pear sauce and light konbu-infused mayo simply elevated the already superb slab of fluffy tamago. The thick cushion of egg both savoury and sweet, made more so by the delicate sauces. Sandwiched between two soft yet slighted toastedĀ bread, the actual portion of the sando also comes with green and crisp for a balanced meal. Loving the creamy and juicy texture, egg lovers like me will definitely enjoy it too.
*It's on their Sweet & Savoury Menu, available till 6pm.
Thank you @grids.circles for having us and @burpple for the invitation!
