Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty, that is this chocolate croissant? Look at the layers!!! INSANE. Can fully comprehend why so many tout this as the best croissant in sg.

SO GOOD!!! The fragrance of the pear is rly prominent and it doesn't have that artifical fruit taste! There are even pear bits inside the tea 🍐 the tea itself wasn't too sweet as well! I highly recommend and would go back to try their other drinks

Rly enjoyed the orange center of the hojicha cake which added a slight tartness to complement the sweetness of the hojicha glacé and chocolate cream!

The mille-feuille compromised pastry layers that were rly light and broke apart so easily at the light touch of the fork. The choux cream had a faint vanilla fragrance and a slight milky aftertaste!

Prices are a tad steep but the ambience is rly nice for an afternoon tea :-)

A rly nice and minimalistic cafe in the middle of a housing estate! Serving up unpretentious and unsweetened drinks made from the heart! They have a variety of black and white coffee types, as well as other drinks such as teas, tea lattes (shown in the pic) and even hot/iced chocolate. The owners of the cafe were rly nice as well! Would like to go back to try the waffles next time 😊

The burpple beyond set is rly value for money! You get a lobster roll chucked full of lobsters, a seafood chowder and a drink just for $15 nett per pax. A rly good deal in the middle of town ☺️ enjoyed the cheezy one better than the original one so you might wna try the cheese one 😉

Was mentally preparing myself that this latte would be super sweet because of how caramel drinks usually are but this one was surprisingly not! Rly liked how the tip of the cup was lined with caramel and salt bits instead of the coffee being drenched with caramel ☕

Wanted to try the shakshuka after seeing so many reviews online but I reached too late and it was sold out by the time I tried to order 😢 even the hokkaido brioche that was supposed to come with the egg ben was also sold out and had to be replaced with a hamburger bun 😢

Nonetheless, the pulled pork benedict was great! The pulled pork was tender and flavourful and the eggs were on point!! Poached to a T 👌also rly like the tomato relish (?) that came in a separate container. Slightly tangy, spicy and went rly well with the rest of the dish 😊

The dark chocolate was rly rich and decadent! Would recommend you sharing it with someone for the full enjoyment 😋

Although prices here are pretty steep, micro serves quality breads and pastries.

Rly enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich and how I could still taste the sourdough despite the heaviness of the cheese 🍞🧀

The flatbread is also a great choice for those who enjoy pesto, tomatoes and burrata!

Really enjoyed how the black sesame fragrance was so evident throughout the layers with an additional bonus of black sesame seeds on the outer rims of the cake! Not too expensive at $6.50 plus free wifi and slow human traffic (meaning you can stay here for looooong without feeling guilty). Score 👌🏼

Slightly bummed that we couldn’t get the Cubano (pulled pork) because of #burpplebeyond restrictions so we went for the Fried Chicken and Patty Melt instead. But boy, can we talk about how crisp that chicken batter was even though it was sandwiched between two slaw and pickled cucumbers? The chicken itself was quite lightly seasoned, allowing you to fully concentrate on the different textures [crispy, moist (from the chicken and slaw) and the tenderness (from the bread)]. The winner was the Patty Melt though. I mean.... look at how that beef patty is still pinkish in the middle and thus not too overcooked and tough 😍 and GUUUUURL the cheddar that melted into the bread layer. What a mouthful of goodness. I now completely understand the hype going behind these sandwiches 🥪

My newest go-to place for truffle fries. Easily one of the better ones around. This one has a strong alluring truffle scent, generously topped with cheese shavings 🍟
