All About Side Dish
It's quite nice and refreshing appetiser that I have been tried it at putien. Got strong umami taste for seaweed and mini shrimps absorbed into the sauce.
It's not that bad but chewy and jelly texture for pork trotters.
(A$18) I just wanted to grab boost after the meal but then my sister suggested me to eat less for lunch. I just shared spring roll with her. The texture for spring roll was quite crispy and crunchy but I felt it's taste normal.
(A$16.60) no comments bc I really hate oyster sauce even they opt out for it.
($8.50) its taste savoury and sweet taste wih thick brown sauce and deep fried onions.i didn't expected that yorkshire pudding to be so soft and chewy texture. But outer texture was quite hard a bit to secure the sauce not to be overflow.
(RM 14.80) I felt that their dumpling skin was quite thick tbh but the fillings for prawn & chives was not that bad.
Noodle Star K (Funan)
consisted free flow banchan and also beef broth drink (which I felt that it's quite weird tbh)
Three Star ($73.40)
Sweet & Sour Pork
with sweet and spicy sauce. I felt that their pork texture was tough and hard to chew. But it got crispy and crunchy texture.
($13) I did told my friend that not ordered their side dish especially tater tots and also they come in sharing portion. They come with smoked ketchup and sour cream dipping sauce topped with spring onion. It taste like hot chili sauce tbh and also mild spicy for me. We didn't managed to eat finish the tater tots and takeaway instead.
($7.90) It's quite crispy and crunchy texture but it's quite salty and dry tbh after a while.
($10 ea) my friend encouraged me to add on side dish as we might be not coming again bc its quite troublesome to do reserve on via WhatsApp. So I order Iberico Pork Katsu. Its quite crispy and crunchy texture as not that hard and chewy texture for pork. My friend he order Wagyu Menchi Katsu ($10) that got juicy, crispy and crunchy texture as not that hard and chewy texture texture.
($6) The staff just carried a box of cold appetiser from the fridge and asked us whether we are interested to try it out their cold appetiser lol. I just kinda didn't wanted to try it initially out bc I wanted to eat onigiri only. We decided to get something light Kinpira Renkon (Japanese Stir Fried Lotus Root) for cold appetiser instead. The taste for cold appetiser was quite nicer tbh.
($15) The oyster was freshly made fried on the spot when the customer order. I felt that the oyster got too much for batters, still juicy, crunchy and crispy texture for first try.
