Definitely not your usual roti prata, Midas' prata is baked and comes in a more pastry-like form that Is less oily.
I ordered the chicken curry with plain and spring onion pratas at $7.50. This definitely was on the higher end given the small portions. The curry was thick (as I favored) but lacked aroma. I also didn't like that their ingredients (chicken thigh, potato and egg) weren't cooked with the curry; they will pour the curry gravy over the ingredients after you order. The prata, on the other hand, was not too bad and offered a familiar taste with a different texture from the traditional ones. And though the curry was not my favorite, it went surprisingly well with the curry.
Verdict? Try if you must but suggest to go with the plain prata first that comes with complimentary curry (should be).
