Paid numerous visits after knowing how good [Sembawang Traditional Claypot Rice] was! Tried something different today, which was also one of their specialties- Da Lu Mian [大碌面-$5.80], Also known as KL- Style Hokkien Mee, Where noodles were drenched generously in Dark, Savoury yet Sweet Sauce! Stirred Fried together with Pork Lard Bits! However, Felt that this dish would be a lil better, if it's less saltier!
Located offshore (Pulau Ubin), a 15 minutes boat ride, You'll see Cheong Lian Yuen nested along the entrance which serves seafood and has seating by the beach.

The most basic yet divine Zi Char item you can get here will definitely be their Seafood Bee Hoon. Whipped up just like 'Hor-Fun' style! Their Seafood was ultimate Fresh, and Bee Hoon was done Full of Wok Hei! Seafood Bee Hoon was charred to perfection with generous portions of seafood topped over the noodles!

2 Choices of Meat (BBQ Roast Pork and Soy Chicken)[Around $20] were plated very meticulously, Pork and Soy Chicken Slices were Sliced to a decent thickness, with Fulfiling meat surrounding it and these adds on to how aesthetic this plate of roast delights can be!

People do say that 925 chicken rice is one the best in the north! I have to agree that statement! Chicken rice on the menu was not super pricy and its affordable! Chicken was thick and filling. Meat was tight and well textured! Sauce goes super well with the fragrant rice! Chilli was there to maximise and satisfy the local tastebuds! Perfect! Lovely!
Tasted their Xiao Long Bao during an afternoon meetup with friends! Additionally we topped up some dimsum and main course to pair with our meals! Indeed, the xiaolongbao fillings were juicy and half filled with soup! Meat inside the xiaolongbao was tender and fresh! Atmosphere was really cosy and quiet in the late afternoon where there were lesser customer and crowd! Definitely a great place to hang out for a catchup with friends or even family! Love the place and food!
