Meals Under $20

One of the biggest disappointment i had recently. With prices like this, I had expected at least a decent meal but they taste and look worse than one of those franchise japanese food places.

Made a reservation at 7.30pm for a restaurant that was only 50% filled.

Dining at Tenderfresh is like a throwback into the childhood literally except I never had salted egg pasta then but my current adult tastebud absolutely adore it. ❤

Braving the midnight drama and intoxicated drunkards, le 3am ramen crave is resolved at Lobster King!
Got the clear miso soup with all toppings ($19.90 before GST) only because the thick soup have ran out. The clear broth prove to be a refreshing choice.
Other then the usual pork char siew, the chicken variety was unexpectedly good. Extremely tender, i cant rave enough about it.
I have always been a keisuke ramen lover and this one proves why.

Coming at 3am also help skip the queue, we only waited about 10mins. Downside? The free flow eggs and side dishes were already gone. Looking on instagram, you can see the neighbourhood drunks playing with them and wasting it. Damn son.

It's a good bowl of tendon with nothing to crow about. The usual suspect of chicken fillet, prawns, sweet potato, nori, shiso leaf and more.
Chanwanmushi and miso soup were average.
Portion of rice were definitely little. Additional bowl of rice were $2 each with only furikake.

It's decent tempura but not value for money.
