They have nice marinated meat, scallop, cheese tofu, liver etc all at affordable price. Hate how other mookata places make it so expensive. When it's just another steamboat
I love traditional pancakes with new flavours so I was naturally attracted to this when I saw it. The sides were crispy and the pancake was delicious
He said the beef was juicy and nicely done. One of the cheapest yet quality burgers we ever tried.
Overall, I think burgers are of quality. Besides the humid hawker environment and lack of utensils, I think this place makes for a good burger fix joint.
Ryan and Clare, the young couple behind this burger stall in Beauty World Food Centre, are motivated by their goal to serve unique and quality burgers at affordable prices. The fact that neither has had formal culinary training comes as a surprise, for the burgers here are creative and seriously yummy. Their speciality is without a doubt their localised burgers like Crispy Pork Belly Burger ($5.50) and Ayam Buah Keluak Burger ($5). According to Tastemaker Wei Zhi Chiang, the former sees thick chunks of crackling fatty pork belly and crunchy Japanese cucumbers sandwiched between well-toasted fluffy buns, and slicked with sweet and tangy hoisin sauce and English mustard. As for the Ayam Buah Keluak Burger, the patty is made with minced chicken and buah keluak, with a lovely bitterness buah keluak fans will love, while the topping of chap chye (Nonya braised vegetables) is extremely inspired! Top up $1.50 for their Fairy Fries, essentially well-seasoned, hand-cut potato fries. After all, like Tastemaker Wei Zhi so rightly says, what's a burger without fries? And at such affordable prices, you might be tempted to have a second burger. Pro tip: Weekend queues can get ridiculous; visit on a weekday of burger sans mobs.
Avg Price: $5 per person

By the same people behind Assembly Coffee comes Atlas Coffeehouse, an expansive, lofty Bukit Timah cafe decked out in marbled tiles and deep sea blue walls. Great for both quick coffee runs and long, lazy brunches, sail by for a Flat White ($4.50) and start the day with a relaxing read by the window bar. For brunch, get the ATLAS Super-Bowl ($17), a healthy yet tasty grain bowl filled with toasted quinoa, roasted squash and zucchini and tender peanut sesame pulled chicken. For more classic brunch flavours, go for the Creamy Mushrooms on Sourdough ($12) ā a generous heap of mushrooms cooked with a splash of white wine and sundried tomatoes, which you must pair with the silky smooth Scrambled Eggs ($3 for add on). For dessert, we favour the Mixed Berries Compote Waffles ($12.50) over the pancakes ā they are similar in taste but the former is lighter and more affordable. Pro-tip: It gets a little crowded at lunch time, so it's best to pop by around 11am.
Avg price: $25 per person

Decided to have a light bite which is the cheese egg roll at masizzim! Its nice while its hot and the cheese melting inside, but after a while if you eat all by your own, you might feel a lil gelat! Worth a try though. I think its ard 10ish?
we ordered five dishes but only four came. tom yum soup and basil chicken were too salty. my mango sticky rice took a long time to come and the sticky rice tasted stale. š (but the omelette was amazing šš½)
Unlike Korean fried chicken, their flavours are more of Southeast Asian origin as you choose between Spicy Flamin, Sticky Kecap Manis or Naked. Even the burger, Cluckin Good ($7.90 ala carte/ $10.90 set) is lemongrass chicken burger with Malasada aka Portuguese donuts.

A bowl of Penang Hokkien Big Prawn Noodles Soup (available in dry or soup version) would fetch you a handful of bee hoon-yellow noodle mix topped with pork ribs, fish cake slices, kang kong and wild sea prawns.
