This was not the first time I was coming back here, last time I came I did not know what to order and ended up ordering something bad. This time, I decided to order their Autumn Special Ramen. For the soup base, I decided to go with strong as I wanted to see how “strong” their soup can taste. As for the rest of their options I went with their normal selections. The wait for the ramen was kind of long but during this time u get to enjoy some of their free appetizers. They provide free flow bean sprout and soft boiled eggs. Their bean sprout is very nice and flavourful with just the right amount of heat. As for the eggs, it was a little disappointing as the egg was not fresh and it was extremely difficult to peel. At last my ramen came, the first thing that hit me was the smell of the broth. The broth had a very unique scent to it and all I wanted to do was to dive into the ramen. The noodle was very nicely cooked, it was neither too hard or soft. The noodle combined well with the broth. Their pork was very tender as well, too bad it was only 2 pieces, I wished there was more of it. Overall this ramen place is one of the best I have eaten in Singapore. If you are looking for some ramen when you’re at Bugis, I would totally recommend this place!
First impression of this place is that it is very quiet, there's only a few table occupied. This may be because I went on a weekday night. The staff here were all very friendly, they immediately greeted me with smiles and brought me to my seats as I have made a reservation beforehand. I ordered their truffle fries and their sirloin steak. The truffle fries wasn't that nice as it does not have much truffle taste to it. However, I was in love with the steak, it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was fantastic. The steak was very tender and when I bite into it, it felt like it melts in your mouth. Overall, I would totally go back for the steak.
This was my first time visting this place. The ambiance of this place was pretty nice and have a very hip kind of feel. I ordered their promotional item which was their roast beef don The wait was relatively acceptable. When my food came, the presentation of the food was remarkable. The outside layer of the beef is cooked and the deeper you dive in the rarer it goes(if its too rare for your liking, you can use their grill to cook it to your liking). The beef was really really nice and it complemented well with the egg and sause they provided. I also ordered a plate of regular harami, the cut was relatively good and it had enough marbling. i grilled mine to med rare. The beef melted in my mouth completely, the marinade that they added on top was a very nice complement to the beef as it enhanced the beef's taste and texture. I would recommend coming to this place to try out.
Went to Swensen's at Bugis Junction for dinner but was very disappointed with their customer service. They pretended they did not see us raise our hands. Also, when the food was served, they did not provide us utensils for the food and took a Long time to deliver the utensils to us after we requested for it. However, the food was delicious, but I would not go again because of their customer service.
