Decided to just get a quick bite and was craving for western at that time. This stall has been at the corner of eye for quite some time already, however i just did not had the time to try it out. At last, i can try it, the price ranges on their food is not really friendly, considering it is located near a school i would expect it to cater a little more to the students. There were a wide varieties of food to choose from, i couldn't make up my mind so i just randomly chose one with a "hot favourite" sticker on it.
The wait for the food was relatively long, as i saw the whole coffee shop, there were no signs of anyone ordering western, so i would assume it would be quick, the food came like after 20mins.
At first glance, the food didn't really look appetising. Their coleslaw and fries were mediocre, the chicken was very blend, i mean even the cheese was not helping with the flavour. In my opinion, the cheese was a very weird combo.
Overall bad experience with this place.

The first time I tried the Assam fishball, it was amazing! The Assam soup was soooo flavourful and the fishball was so chewy. There were also chunks and chunks of fish meat inside the soup which makes me really excited as I really like the fish in it. I can taste that the fishball was cooking in the soup for sometime as the fishball has the soaked up the soup's essence and flavour. However, when I went to buy it again the next day, I was utterly disappointed. The fishball looked like it was the leftover of yesterday's and the soup has a metallic taste in it, which tasted very disgusting. Also, the soup does not have any pieces of fish in it which is soooo different from yesterday's. After that incident, I did not really want to buy it again.

It has been awhile since i was here. Last time, i ordered the basil pork with rice set, this time i ordered the same thing and also their tom yum soup. The basil pork standard was still there, in fact, i think that there was an improvement. The basil pork is not too spicy but it packs a kick, its very fragrant as the basil is stir fried nicely. The texture of the pork is chewy and is stir fried nicely with the chilli, basil and other spices.
The tom yum soup was very very fragrant as well, the ingredients inside tasted fresh and it wasn't like those overnight stuff. There were prawns, squid, fish, and many more inside the soup. The spice level on this is a bit high but still acceptable. Overall this thai place is a hidden gem and it deserves more publicity. I would recommend this place if you wanted to try some thai cuisine.

I used to frequent this westen place as it was near my school and i would always get either their chicken chop or fish and chips. I would say the standard of the place has lowered. I thought their standard would have gotten better after the recent food review done by a recognised foodie. So i decided to go back and have a try, i ordered my usual chicken chop. When my chicken chop arrived, at first glance the presentation of it has improved since i was last here, however i realised that the portion has gotten a lot smaller and also, the price has gone up quite a lot(from $5.00 to $6.50), the chicken chop taste relatively normal and nothing special, it was still pretty tender and pack full of flavour but it was missing something that i could not pin point. The slaw and beans were normal. The garlic bread was still on point and it reminded me of what i had a few years ago. Personally i was a little disappointed, i dont think I would come back for this as there are other stalls that are nicer in the coffee shop.

I ordered the black pepper char grill chicken chop along with potato salad and fries as my sides. The chicken was cooked perfectly, however the black pepper sause was abit watery and it had no peppery kick at all. The potato salad was very nice, it was cold and refreshing and the texture of it is very nice, also there were chunks of potato inside which added abit of crunch to the texture. As for the fries it was pretty normal, but it was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall just a decent experience.

$3.50 western fried rice. It was very disappointing. The fried rice tasted bland, and has a little weird sour taste to it. For the price, I can get better fried rice. Won't go back again.
