Located along North Bridge Road, this restaurant has been quickly gaining traction in Burpple's Muslim community for both its East-meets-West dishes as well as its minimalist interior. Come with your date and start with the simple but satisfying Beef Brisket Man Tou ($10) — slow cooked pulled beef brisket in a homemade barbecue sauce, stuffed into freshly fried, pillowy soft mantous. For mains, Hyde's Chili Crab Pasta ($18) comes highly recommended — expect al dente linguine tossed in a homemade spicy (they mean fiery!) arrabiatta sauce and topped with a generous portion of blue swimmer crab. End your meal on a sweet note with the Ondeh Ondeh Toast ($12), grated pandan coconut over two fluffy brioche toasts. It is served alongside vanilla bean ice cream and drizzled with gula melaka sauce.

I've been an avid fan of their Salted Egg Croissant but always felt their dishes lacked a little something. However it seems that there's been a change in probably their chef or management decided to 'wake up' to enhance their food! Decided to pay them a visit today for brunch and was amazingly surprised with the difference in their food! The poached eggs were nicely done and didn't taste heavily of vinegar anymore and their plating.... finally changed for the better! Kudos to them and yes, breakfast was good!
Calling all beef and cheese lovers! This dish will give you your fix with torched melted raclette cheese over delicious tender and juicy medium beef steak :) see my blog for the cheese being melted and sliced over the steak!
Affordable, tasty and Halal certified!

Starting the weekend off with an oozy egg and yummy tomato sauce pasta with loads of chunky crab meat. A little hint of spice to get the tastebuds tingling too. 😋

Finally get to have lunch here. Tried their signature dish, Fish & Chips. Very generous with the fries. The size of the fish is a bit big but the batter is very nice. Tastes different and original compared to other places that I've tried.
The new extension on the second floor is air conditioned so it's more comfortable and spacious. You can rent the space for private events with customized menu too.
.
Their food is delicious and affordable. And it's halal certified too! Watch out this space for awesome CASH VOUCHER GIVEAWAY in collaboration with I am Cafe !

In frame: Charcoal-grilled 'Big Bear' Beef Burger ($16.9) 🍔🍔🍔

Thank you @imathajilane for hosting us!
This burger has a lovely cranberry butter spread under the top bun and a bed of melted mozzarella on the bottom bun--sandwiched in between is this gorgeous meat patty with bacon. Life is good😙
Rate from 1-10, ITS 20!
Service: we decided to sit outside due to better lighting and more spacious! The guy took the initiative to turn on the ac for us. 4/5
Food: we ordered the dancing duck burger ($18), Hawaii 5-o ($16), truffles (?-I forgot the name, $10) The proportion was amazing, the burgers came with truffle fries on the side. Will definitely go back during 11-3pm, set lunch for cheaper options. 20/10 fries were fantastic, the crispness is on point, no excess oil, so it doesn't feel guilty.
Homemade ice tea: HELLNO! I don't understand it's flavor. Is the ILT, earl Grey, lavender mixed and add a slice of lemon? It's gross. Weird.
It's halal too, but Chinese approved!! 😝😝
This Muslim-owned restaurant at Esplanade Mall serves an east meets west inspired menu. Its cosy, homely setting along with its mocktail offerings makes this an ideal location for special occasion dinners with family or friends. To start, share the Curly Fries with Bacon and Cheese ($12.90). For mains, spice lovers will love the fiery, tongue-numbing Smoked Duck Lemak Chili Padi Pasta ($18.90). The spaghetti is tossed in a coconut-based gravy — a twist on the traditional Malay lemak chili curry — and served with slices of smoked duck, fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes. Finish with a slice of their In-House Specialty Cake ($10.90) that comes with a scoop of ice-cream. The cake changes daily, so check with the friendly staff on what's available. If possible, go for the crowd-favourite Ondeh Ondeh Cake. The fluffy pandan-infused sponge cake is layered with a generous spread of gula Melaka and topped with coconut flakes. Pro tip: Be warned that a glass of water here is $1, and any additional refills cost $1.

[Halal] I didn't know what I was expecting with this, but I was pleasantly surprised - mostly by how accurately replicated the blackcurrant tanginess in the magenta sauce. It was a little too thin and watery, if I must be honest.
Ironically enough, despite the chicken looking browned and well-seasoned, I didn't find it to be sapid at all. I was hoping for a more kick. But that's fine because the white meat soaked up that zingy sauce so easily. The flavours meshed surprisingly well.
In short, this dish to some extent exhibited the beauty of the algorithm of flavour fusion. I quite liked it. (7/10)
Located just a few doors down from the now defunct Rouse, this cosy Muslim-owned restaurant dishes out hearty and tasty eats, and donates a percentage of their sales to the Muhammadiyah Welfare Home. The homey space is small, so it's best to come with an intimate group of friends for dinner. Start with the spicy Malayan Wings ($13), marinated with kicap chili padi, and be sure to order the Roti Kirai Beef Ribs ($39) — short beef ribs slathered with a finger-licking good secret glaze, served with a roti kirai (Malaysian net crepes) salad on the side. For mains, the massive portion of Salted Egg Softshell Crab and Mudcrab Linguine ($28) feeds two easily. Don't leave without the Classic Ondeh Ondeh Cake ($8), infused with chantilly cream.

First time visit & was very impressed with the service & deco. Staff very friendly & food recommendation was spot on. We try the salted egg yolks linguine with soft shell crab & ondeh ondeh cake.... We loved both !! The ice lemon tea was very refreshing with fresh mint taste & finally we felt welcome & wanting to come again to try more foods on the menu. The only negative is, the foods are a bit pricey but the potion make the price worth it!
