Came here on a cold rainy day, seeking for some warmth and comfort. Chicken Hotpot is like a huge Gong Bao pot of chicken bits, to be adorned with more vegetables/ tofu/ noodles (+$2.20/ plate onwards). A large pot was plenty for two, comes at a price of $30+ per pot.
Simple, delicious and yummy - the gravy is itself was addictive to have. Literally wiped out my rice after drenching it with the gravy.
I had VERY high expectations for this one because it was recommended by a fried chicken fan. Probably too high for my own good.
The wings came piping hot and crispy, lightly spiced and with a shiok chili sauce that reminds us of the chicken rice chili. But I guess I still like my chicken wings juicier (which also means more oily) and more tender. The good news is clean up after this is an easy affair because the wings aren't too oily despite coming out fresh from the kitchen. $12 for 6 wings (total 12 pieces) is also quite a great value for the area.
