Out of the 5 dishes, I like the century egg chicken porridge and the chicken feet. The porridge tasted exactly like those you find in cantonese restaurants and the chicken feet were very Q, firm, flavorful and full of collagen!! You can go there to load on collagen! The chee chong fun was too thick and the siew mai had too much lean meat, can't taste any prawn and was way too compact (its like eating very dense healthy meatballs) and its not as flavorful nor taste like the norm siew mai. Same goes for the fried shrimp dumpling, too compact too much lean meat hence making it "tough" and tasteless.

Ma Shan Tang in Taiwan. Everything was good! The beef soup has duck or pig's blood , beansprout, beancurd..etc.. it was fulfilling and so full bodied! At 1st glance the majang for the noodles looked too diluted but after mixing and putting it in my mouth, it was simply flavorful and oh so good! Definitely a place to go.

Fried cauliflower fritters. The first few bites were good, crispy and flavorful but left it cold, the batter just became very greasy and inedible. The GyuDon is not bad though the beef that day was a little too dry and generous with the fried shallots but they kinda overpower the beef. Overall its not too bad. Iwill try the fried soft bones next time.

For starters we ordered truffle fries, mid wings, grilled squid, vegetarian flat bread and sea bass croquettes. True to the waiter's recommendation, the sea bass croquettes were realy good. Crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, no fishy smell at all. The rest of the starters are ok, grilled squid is not too bad but we left it too long so by the time we ate its cold and a little too chewy.
For the mains, we ordered pork schnitzel, a little too tough, dry and compact, its more like chinese fried pork chops sat on a bed of mash and peas! Yuck! Peas..sorry..pass.. My colleague who is a veg said the mushroom risotto is good.. creamy and light.
The berries cheesecake was ok but the greentea cake tasted like a few days old, dry, a little stale and cloying sweet. The sorbert with papadum was good.. i meant what can go wrong with icy stuff but creative..papadum on a sorbert!!!
