Mexican
Very good tortilla chips with a tangy, spicy salsa. Only $4 on the menu but the restaurant gave it to us with compliments. Not sure if it's their regular practice, but small sweet gestures like this are always nice :)
The set meal for 2 ($49.90++) consists of this super tasty salad with big juicy prawns with sour cream, 2 chicken burrito (pretty normal), quesadilla (which was pretty good too especially together with the sour cream and guacamole) and chips and dip. There's also free flow of fresh salsa. Quite a decent place and their service was damn fast.
It’s gonna be 2017 in less than a week!
Rubbed with Mexican spices and slow cooked until tender, Guzman Y Gomez’s Slow Roasted Beef Burrito Bowl ($11.40) was positively flavourful and surprisingly filling. With a slap of creamy guacamole (add-on for $2), the bowl came loaded with black beans, tangy salsa, stringy jack cheese, a generous portion of well-marinated beef, rice and not forgetting their crispy corn chip.
Overall, a good option to introduce Mexican food to non lovers such as myself with a pleasing variety.
