"Made with premium wheat flour and infused with artisanal butter by Jean-Yves Bordier", my crepe was paper-thin and just ever so slightly stretchy when pulled apart, which is what a good crepe should be like. As for the housemade caramel sauce, it was delicious, but no trace of salt could be found. I recommend adding on a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream($4) to up the indulgence factor.

Marble table tops, white rattan chairs and big potted pants — Fynn's is a gorgeous showstopper in South Beach Tower, be it day or night. If you're looking to have a more intimate conversation, opt to sit behind the glass panels — it's quieter and more comfortable with the long padded bench than the main sitting area. You won't go wrong ordering the signature items that are bolded on the menu. Burger lovers can find comfort in the All-Beef Burger ($22) — a juicy beef patty topped with gruyere cheese, slathered with the house sauce and sandwiched between house made buns. The flawless Grilled Chicken with Fried Wild Rice ($19.50) that comes with edamame, snow peas, egg and pickled vegetables is a wholesome one-dish meal. Indulge in the hearty Heirloom Tomato Salad ($23) served with basil granita only if your wallet can afford it. Be sure to save space for their Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie ($12.50) — an upsized version of a Mrs Field's cookie served in a hot skillet pan, topped with vanilla ice cream and Guinness syrup!

Tight on cash but bent on impressing your date? Head to this cosy restaurant near Kembangan MRT for quality Western fare at very affordable prices. In general, the pastas are more competitively priced than their meat mains yet equally tasty — try the Duck Confit Tagliatelle ($16) or Gnocchi ($17) with roasted corn and corn puree. If you have a larger budget, go straight for the Flat Iron Steak ($28), a seasonal dish served only from Fridays to Sundays. While lean, the beef is incredibly tender, and comes topped with zingy chimichurri. For dessert, have the Popcorn Flan ($13) to share. It's like popcorn, but made so much better with trimmings like hazelnut brittle and caramel foam.

A selection of chicken and lamb kebab, served with rice and salads. Loved the flavors on the chicken. Soft, tender and juicy! Best ordered with a starter. $33.

Gold Brew & Unicorn Tears ($10 ea)

According to the bubbly service staff, Gold Brew is Cold Brew with some ✨"magic"✨ added to take you instantly to magic wonderland🌈! 😂 Indeed we were mesmerized by the 🙌🏼 sparkly swirls 🙌🏼in both bottles reminiscent of what an Evil Witch 👹 would offer to an unsuspecting princess 👸🏼!! (Coffee is actually made with Ethiopian Yirgacheff and slightly sweetened)

Unicorn 🦄 Tears 💧is yet another potently magical ingredient cruelly (kidding!) extracted from their in-house pure bred Mongolian Unicorn made fresh with every order (nb: the unicorn looked visibly distressed and dehydrated with severely puffy 👀 😂) (actually, it tastes just like lemonade made sparkly!)

Other items in picture were the Earl Grey Yuan Yang with Lavender ($8), Salted Egg Earl Grey Cake ($9) and Hazelnut Flat White ($6).

$18 for one platter. My favourite was the Poached Chicken Sushi! Its just like chicken rice in sushi form ! Rate : 6.5/10

Opened just above Common Man Coffee Roasters where Bochinche used to be in collaboration with Yoga Movement is GROUNDED by CMCR which serves a different and more limited hot food menu with coffee, juices which would probably appeal as a post-workout refuel spot for those who visit Yoga Movement. The GF Redemption Bowl comes with Roasted Veggies, Nuts, Seeds, Poached Egg and Tahini drizzle, while the Chili Chicken I opted for is a $4 extra on top of its original price tag of $17 — you could also get the Falafel Chicken if you aren't into the spiciness as well. This comes pretty wholesome, especially when you have avocado, sweet potatoes, beetroot, cauliflower etc. involved — the sort of thing you might be into if you want a grain bowl though this doesn't come with grains. Every ingredient gave a distinct flavour profile that works well together in a mix, and also a different texture along too — crunch on the fresh greens alongside the savoury nuts as you savour the spiced flavour of the Tahini dressing which gives it that very exotic mix of flavours typical of Indian cuisine. And if you are a sucker for Common Man's poached eggs, the eggs here are also as good — the same organic egg with the golden yolk used here as well, well-poached that it you get a seductive flow from it as you poke it open. Go for the chicken add-on if you can't do without meat and especially love the Chili Chicken that is served at Common Man Coffee Roasters for brunch — tender strips of zesty yet mildly spicy chicken that goes well with the bowl overall so it doesn't get too "green" if you know what I mean. Definitely a good place to chill and hang out for brunch and an alternative to Common Man Coffee Roasters if it is a little too crowded — just be warned of the irrational choices of furniture and cutlery; couch seating, stools and annoyingly low tables you end up crouching just to eat and the wooden utensils that taste very much like the ice-cream sticks that the doctors used to press on your tongue just to take a look at the throat (which is not the most fantastic taste in the world anyway).
