Rich, earthy flavours in a smooth and creamy soup. Made with button and shiitake mushrooms, onion and chicken stock. Nicely balanced, savoury and comforting without being heavy 》$8.90

Milky, peppery broth that feels both hearty and soothing. The tripe’s tender with a nice chew, gingko adds that earthy balance and the yuba soaks up all the flavour. Soup is refillable once so yes, I went for round two. Comfort in a bowl 》$15.80

The mushroom soup was earthy, smooth and comforting. Not too thick but still rich with flavour. Loved the drizzle of truffle oil for that extra depth and the toasted sourdough was perfect for dunking. Crisp edges, soft centre and great for soaking up every last bit 》$12

Thick and velvety with bits of wild mushroom adding bite. Savoury and dense, it’s comforting without being heavy. The garlic bread’s soft and perfect for dipping 》$8.90

Picked the velvety mushroom stroganoff and Boston clam chowder. Both creamy, comforting and great for a rainy day. The mushroom was earthy and smooth, while the clam chowder had that classic briny richness. The spicy wedges were crispy, well-seasoned too.

Carrots and warming curry spices are a perfect match to this rich, creamy and mildly spicy soup served with croutons. The natural sweetness from the carrots is complemented by the milk/cream so well which makes this a good appetizer 》$5.90

Home-made lobster bisque with cream and flamed cognac.

A rich hearty crustacean soup that came highly seasoned, velvety smooth and creamy with a nice contrast of flavours. I thought it was a tad salty but my dining partner prefers it as it is.
